If you read the description, the original game (Crush) was made in 2007. Fez was announced in 2010. This is a remake for the 3DS. So there is no possible way this game could be intentionally copying off of Fez.

I'm not sure if the reason for the downvotes is because people think it's a ripoff, or they think the game is stupid.
