@poorpilot00 They came to watch golf, they know the inherent risk of getting hit with a ball before they show up. he made as solid contact as possible from that type of lie. Also, as you put it, the ball only "trickled" out...man it would have been a real shame if it trickled right into someone.

iiiidiet.. he broke a 4 iron.. i remember this tournament more than anything because i was there. then i watched it at home because i was wonderming why he didn't use a 4 iron for the rest of the day. he broke it.. i first thought it was a 5 iron because it didn't look that closed to me. but then i realized that he opened the club a little bit to get more air on the ball.. fantaaastic shot.

I would remember it being a 4-iron. I think later on during the round he wanted to hit 4-iron, but he had to hit a hard 5 (guess it was hole 13)

u exactly right.. it was a 4 .. in the later hole he had a shot set for a perfect 4 iron but had to go for 3 iron slice or hook 5 iron..
