They give people that like these things bad names. If you are fat then do not put on a a tight fitting spandex liatard and run around calling yourself a ninja. If you think Spike Spegal, Sanosuke or Ichimaru are cool, AND you are not then DON'T dress up like them. If you can pull off a character and not act like a moron and disgrace them than I support you and will gladly join you with the few characters I can pull off...

Until then play ugly, fat and mute characters that do nothing. OR act out the character as a "if ___ were to let himself go" typea thing and get drunk.

P.S. I have seen plenty of these characters done well and I tell them good job when I see them at conventions, those are just dorks desperatly seeking acceptance.

Where I live conventions like that don't exist (at least not to my knowledge), so I just thought this clip was funny.
