yeah i caught an M and i evolved into a kangaskan.. it does that because marowak was supposed to evolve into kangaskan and the baby in its pouch is a cubone with out a skull and when the kangaskan dies the baby puts its skull on its head but they removed the concept and the evolution making kangaskan its own pokemon.. but the result was this glitch pokemon appearing..from what i heard

To clear it up for people: NO, missingno isn't something purposely put in the game to screw your game up. NO, it isn't the remnants of a Pokemon that was never finished. It is simply the result of the game reading a byte to refer it to which Poke you should be battling now, a byte that refers to a non-existent Poke which has no data. Because the game has no error-handling in this regard, it simply uses whatever data is available to it to generate the Poke, however erroneous it may be.

cubone is a baby kangaskan whom had lost its mother and wears its mothers skull (a bit disturbing) it later evolves to be marowack and then again evolves to be kangaskan and the cycle repeats as the baby kangaskan loses its parent
