@greyxwind If there were some kind of heaven, you yourself would never experience it. The spirit cannot feel, nor can it remember. You would never remember anything, not even your own existence. It's just kinda ridiculous to assume that it's gonna be some kind of big reunion in the sky. But, I've had this argument with people before, so I'll respect your beliefs. If you wanna fly, by all means fly.

@greyxwind Don't base your beliefs on what would be 'happiest.' As much as you'd like to think so, the universe does not owe you a sense of happiness. There are tons of sick things about this world that are the truth; so look at what is reality, not fantasy.

Though, a great thing we can do for our fellow man is to be positive, and merry! If it takes a belief in something you might consider fantasy, it is still honorable and virtuous, since the most one of best things we can do in this world is to spread happiness and positivity, in any form.

But, but that still doesn't mean there's "something past this." In fact, I'm pretty certain that my belief that there is no afterlife makes me soak up the good things in life even more.
