Its a terrible sounding scream. produced the same way as the regular scream except yelling instead of using an industrial sound. Its not brutal, its a weaker sounding growl that makes me want to tear my hair out, like the way Trivium does their clean vocals these days. It sucks ass.

You should buy their 'Of the Sic' DVD. Its the closest you can get to seeing the Old Slipknot. Youtube dosent do it justice. Sourious, Its Awesome. And yeah. Vol. 3 was like the Climax if their Career musically. Commercially they got bigger after but musically they got worse IMO. Its not as 'In your Face' as it used to be. You know? Not as Angry.

Im not disagreeing with you. AHIG is a masterpiece, but thats totally the opposite of what Slipknot stood for. Go buy their "of the (SIC)" DVD, You'll see, they've become everythinkg they hated back then. I see it as two different bands, the badass, young, angry Slipknot and the Mature, Calm, laid back Slipknot. If I had to choose, Id say the first. But, They've gotten old. Personally I think Slipknot should break up for 10 years and do a comeback. That'd be cool.
