  • Very good sound!!!

  • Bravo. The construction looks very nice, I also see the AM tube receiver at the video, I have watched the video about that receiver too, and I like it much.

  • dude that mario kart

  • not just mario kart, but mario kart 64

  • Very nice.

  • good job man beautiful project

  • man this AM transmitter uses the control grid modulation a Hartley oscillator, the sound quality is so good,,,, fantastic,,,the AM receiver is so good in fidelity good job ....

  • you sure like videogame music, you should use some sonic 2

  • FBI? Don't you mean FCC?

  • Would I put that much effort into a bomb? Come on. It's an RF transmitter for SOUND.

  • wow great job! now is there any vacumm tubes that are just 3 pins like a transistor at all? or do you need the extra pins for the heating ? thanks great work! reminds me of a tesla coil. i bet if you put energy into it and the reciever was the same coil design, u could actually send some industrial energy between the coils lol. do you know of any really powerful vaccuum tubes capable of taking thousands of volts? thanks

  • @boxa888 read a book fucktard

  • u didnt have to be a dick lol. thats why humanity fails cause of people like you, out to be angry instead of help people out. lol. ohh well. there are 3 prong vacuum tubes by the way, i was wondering if he knew any off the top of his head, so ur wrong poly

  • @boxa888 Actually no, the reason the world sucks is because people are way to nice. We need to stop molly coddling the dumb and willingly ignorant.

and, how does "read a book" make me wrong? Here is another suggestion, take some comprehension courses you mouth breathing twat.

  • hahah ur sooo funny!! thanks man have a great night. peace. the 3 prong vacuum tubes work by electrostatic fields of the three electrodes. the middle prong is circular shaped allowing for a field to form around it when voltage is introduced into the tube this can be used to make the circuit switch like a transistor or cut off power once the middle pin is turned off, so yes, there is no need for a heater in the these cold cathode tubes, they are really rare, thats the only problem.

  • instead of using your cd player as an audio source why dont you use your valve/tube cassette recorder

  • mario kart \o/

  • sounds like sonic the hedgehog.

  • Mario Kart 64

  • WHEEEW! That was sooo coool!! I love the transmitter AND receiver!!

  • Thanks!

  • Very good! Do you buy your projects in kit form or are they total home brew?

  • Thank you. This particular one is built from scratch, but some of them are kits, like the Fender Bassman and Hi-Octane.

  • woah!

  • I showed this video to a friend who likes to say "I've been in broadcasting since diapers." He was very impressed with your work and the video. He also liked the tube cassette recorder video also.

  • Glad to see it working. Sounds good and seems to perform as designed, neat work and a very good job. I use it quite a lot.
