wow great job! now is there any vacumm tubes that are just 3 pins like a transistor at all? or do you need the extra pins for the heating ? thanks great work! reminds me of a tesla coil. i bet if you put energy into it and the reciever was the same coil design, u could actually send some industrial energy between the coils lol. do you know of any really powerful vaccuum tubes capable of taking thousands of volts? thanks

hahah ur sooo funny!! thanks man have a great night. peace. the 3 prong vacuum tubes work by electrostatic fields of the three electrodes. the middle prong is circular shaped allowing for a field to form around it when voltage is introduced into the tube this can be used to make the circuit switch like a transistor or cut off power once the middle pin is turned off, so yes, there is no need for a heater in the these cold cathode tubes, they are really rare, thats the only problem.
