'The Celtic Fringe: Westminster Elections In Scotland And Wales, 1970-2010, A Complete Record' by Grant Toway is now available on Amazon. At first glance, this book may seem to be primarily a statistical guide to the 1,200+ constituency contests in Scotland and Wales covering the last four decades, but there are also brief comments which accompany each and every result. The author has also compiled a number of appendices as well as providing his own commentary on the unfolding events.
The best method to prevent or reduce the threat of floods in the Conwy valley is constructing dare I say it as I live in Bala, a dam upstream. Tryweryn all over again BUT with no village lost in the valley. Just for smallscale hydropower. It would protect the valley.
@7in7in7in. All I originally said is I wouldn't be jumping off the Betws Bridge, I know the majority of the film is shot in Llanwrst. I've been to the place 1000s of times. I’ve lived most of my life in Colwyn Bay.

@7in7in7in. 1:25 is Betws. I've jumped off it enough times in the 80s.
