kemeelah IS great with talking to kids and getting the point across. However, i think that Genesis needed to grow thicker skin. She whined a lot about being gay and how no one excepted her for it. I'm gay when i liked a girl for the first time i told the world. I guess cos i know that u can't please the masses. If some except u then bless it be. If not... then Not. i can live with it. NEXT! she was nice but a bit annoying with the whole gay thing.

IIRC Kameelah got chewed out by her boss for talking about this with the kids. However, she was totally in the right. This might as well have been a Sesame Street segment.

To hear Kameelah put it that way, she makes a really good point. As long as someone isn't intentionally trying to make you comfortable against your will, then it shouldn't matter. If the person is cool and shows genuine insterest in being your friend, then so be it. Unfortunately, though, there are some people that just don't care.

Both Kameelah and Genesis were my favorites from this season.

When I was that age, I didn't know what "gay" is. Poor Genesis. That was really inspriring, what Kameelah said. She handled the situation perfectly.
