  • lol jordan went home and beat the shit out of his kids that day

  • lol this is why as a 22 year old young man....ive given up on all my heroes lol....mike sounds so gracious in his interview.....when in actuallity he was beyond pissed he pretty much cursed out everybody on the team from scottie to horace to pax lol

  • The Pistons were everything the Bulls wished to be, but never could.

  • @WVDave26 yep, the bulls never could be what a 2 time championship team like the pistons were.the bulls did nothing but win SIX of them, that's all.

  • Verne Lundquist and Len Elmore on a Game 7? Wow...you know CBS was just about done in the NBA game!

  • mj has sportsmanship not much you can say about todays stars. they dont seem to have learned that trait so sad

  • isiah may be an idiot today, but atleast he can say jordan didn't win earlier until he declined

  • Mike was pure class, even in defeat. Its a shame he committed suicide in that gay asian she-male fiasco last week.

  • @1973mazdarx4coupe i don't think i could love this comment anymore

  • 7:21-7:54....true class by MJ.

  • 5:31 You know this is from 20 years ago based on that travelling call alone - you would NEVER see that called today - even if he took twice that many steps! haha

  • 3:09-end. My favorite play of all time. Then the aftermath. "Nananananana heeeeey gooodbyyyyyyye!"

    Good old Detroit.

  • The truth is that all these games were fixed then and are fixed now. The reason why Jordan didn't get all crazed is cause he knew it was Detroit's time to win because it was fixed. The same reason why Isiah walked off the court, because he knew it was Chicago's time to win. The Lakers, Celtics, Pistons, and Bulls' championship runs were all fixed and staged performances. I'm a hardcore Bad Boy Detroit Pistons fan but now looking back I can see how all this was staged and fixed beyond anything.

  • @3DStoneCt If you don't mind me asking, just WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? FIXED? You mean like wrestling fixed? You're kidding right?

  • @Summerslam96 They are fixed in terms of which teams win; it's fixed based upon which teams play in the Finals; which teams are good and bad; it's fixed based upon free agency, draft order, and even who comes out early in college. It's all set up, it always has been and when fans catch on, then they change things up. Every rivalry, era, comeback, scandal, and success story was fixed. The refs, networks (media), players, and coaches are in on it. The only people that don't know are the fans.

  • @3DStoneCt still don't understand what you're trying to say. Maybe because you're saying it's like wrestling which it isn't and I've only heard the word fixed associated with wrestling.

  • @Summerslam96 Every business is fixed to achieve a certain result and it starts and ends with money. The product is the game and players. ESPN, NFL & NBA Networks, ABC, Fox, etc.. are in business with these leagues and their objective is to make money. Refs, players, media, coaches, trainers and everyone is making over 6 figures...they are all in on it to do their jobs. They make up the storylines, scandals, and good vs. evil plots. The draft, trades, and free agency is all manipulated.

  • @3DStoneCt Then I would have to see proof then in order to believe you. I've never heard of anything like football and basketball being fixed and never heard of the networks being in on it too. I'm not buying what you're selling here bud

  • @Summerslam96 When we say a sport is "fixed", it's nothing different than a new business plan. We don't know HOW sports is fixed but it is fixed. Say you are in business with a group of people, the business is fixed because you have a plan and you have an objective and you will carry out your enterprise. Now there's nothing wrong with this, but the paying customer (fan) doesn't have access to the information you do because your job is to make money.

  • @3DStoneCt so when you say fixed, you're not exactly implying that in this game, a group of people got together and decided to have the Pistons win and then for the next three years they decided to have the Bulls win in a pre-determined fashion?

  • @Summerslam96 That's part of it. For example: The Bird vs. Magic: Celtics vs. Lakers rivarly was fixed. The Bad Boys era was fixed. The 90's Bulls era was fixed. They do the same thing in all sports and these are all excellent markets in coastal or economically driven cities. It's no different than a play, sit com, circus, etc.. You don't know HOW the show is staged but it's staged. You have good guys (Magic, Jordan, Bird); you need bad guys - The Bad Boys. See?

  • @Summerslam96 The proof is in your face. Look at every scandal, storyline, and great comeback and great team or dynasty. These athletes are professionals because they are so good that they can influence the outcome of a game at will. Isiah throwing the ball to Bird in '87; Buckner's game 6 screw up; the '04 down 0-3 Red Sox. Every guy that gets a huge contract has a scandal: Magic, Jordan, Pacman, Michael Irvin, Burress, Arenas, Vick, Tiger Woods, LeBron (the decision and his mom). See?

  • @3DStoneCt but not every player is that good to influence a game at will. Jamarcus Russel for my beloved Raiders signed a huge contract and flopped terribly. Was that fixed? If so then I'm pissed off as HELL. Why not they fix it in a way that the Raiders win the next Super Bowl but all in all still just can't seem to grasp what you're saying.

  • @Summerslam96 Well see what you have to see is that the opponent is in on it as well. Yes, he signed a huge contract and flopped. It's what I said earlier, every guy that signs a huge deal has a scandal - that's on purpose. See? Remember Al Davis sued the NFL and it's no accident that his team is called, "The Raiders". What is he saying? That he's against other owners and he's doing his own thing. HAHAHA!

  • @Summerslam96 Look at what players get when they win. They get a ring. They are already wealthy, they can purchase their diamond rings. Plus, they do not take home the gold or silver trophy - the owners do. So really as players what do they get for winning? A parade and a diamond ring. They are already wealthy financially so they have what they need. The championship is the money, the ring is the illusion. The fans are nothing more than paying customers - that's it. Every business does this.

  • @3DStoneCt so what you're saying in the big scheme of things is that, the fans are paying for the entertainment and the players, who are already wealthy, win championships for their owners, who are already wealthy too. The only thing the players keep are the rings they get for winning. This has to do with fixed sports because.....?????

  • @Summerslam96 It has everything to do with fixed sports because all the owners and all the players, refs, and coaches are in on the same objective - the business. It's not about winning and losing, someone has to win every season so winning isn't the issue, the issue is the money generated by the business. Period. If you are in a multi-billion dollar business and making more money by the hundreds of millions, what the heck do you care about a gold or silvery trophy or winning a game? Think.

  • @3DStoneCt The reason why I don't buy what you're saying, no offense, is because people will watch football and basketball for entertainment. If the team sucks, much like the Raiders, people will not show up. Then issues start coming like raising revenue. But people will pay to watch good teams. Trust me, the Raiders are in big trouble in terms of money. They might have to relocate to L.A. but what would really do the trick is Al Davis giving up his grasp on the organization

  • @Summerslam96 Right, it's just entertainment, the fans are paying customers. Porn is fixed and it's a huge business and people watch it for entertainment - the same as plays, movies, the circus, and all types of sitcoms. Remember, the fans actually believe their team has a chance; they don't know all this if fixed and even if they do they'll show up because people want to be entertained. Right, they relocate and go elsewhere, it's just business. It doesn't matter who wins or loses.

  • @3DStoneCt To wrap this up we're both in agreement that their aren't really people that make decisions on who wins and looses. Teams are good and bad by chance. There will be bad teams just because and there will be good teams just because. The money generated to an organization is obviously by the good teams that sustain success and there are good players that play to better themselves, family, the game and there are players that obviously play for money like Jamarcus.

  • @Summerslam96 It's simple: It's all fixed in various ways. Teams are picked to win titles; teams are picked to lose; the storylines are all contrived; and the networks, players, coaches, refs are all paid off to perform their duty. This is no different than a movie, play, sit com, circus, or any staged event. All players get are fame, money, and a ring as a reward. That's it. The only stupid people are fans because they have no idea this is all fixed and they waste their money.

  • @3DStoneCt Also, the players do have tons of money but the reason why they play is because they have families to support and more importantly, they LOVE THE GAME. Players like Jamarcus Russell didn't love the game. He wore pimped out clothes to post game interviews and just flat out didn't care about winning or getting better because he already had a big contract of money. Players like Peyton Manning try and do their best everytime they hit the field cuz they want to prove they're the best.

  • @Summerslam96 Right, they have families to support - so do you. If someone paid you millions to just play a role no matter what, would you? That 'LOVE THE GAME' crap is the biggest lie in sports. None of these guys love the game, they love the money, fame, and money, money, and more money. You can play football, baseball, and basketball anytime at any gym with enough people - they grew up playing for free.lol It's not due to love, it's cash. The good ones are picked to be circus animals.

  • @3DStoneCt It's not enough just to have money but, guys like Peyton love what they do and want the world to know they're the best bar none. The money is a bonus. Old school football players got paid dirt to play and still continued to play in fledgling leagues. Peyton is just a modern day old school player that happens to get paid alot of money in a widely respected league

  • @Summerslam96 You can believe that if you want, it's up to u.

  • @Summerslam96 It's simple. The NBA (and all pro sports) is a business. When you have 20 plus multi-billionaires coming together in a business venture, their purpose isn't to win games, it's to make more money. It's fixed because just like in any business plan your objective is to make more money and the players are used as products like soft drinks, burgers, and pizza. You market them and you use them as pawns to make more money. When you look at it from business perspective you can see it clear

  • Ahhhh, REAL basketball. Today's NBA can't hold a candle to what it was in these days. And Lebron James, notice how these Bulls are PLAYING HARD AND COMPETING even though a loss is inevitable? This is what something called PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL PLAYERS do. But you wouldn't understand this because you are a SUPERSTAR first and a basketball player second.

  • Pistons dominated the Bulls when it was NBA on CBS. It just took it to become NBA on NBC for the Bulls to end Piston reign and for Bulls to start dynasty. Then NBA on ABC Detroit wins a Title again and even eliminated Chicago in 2007.

  • MJ wasn't a competitor. Did you see Michael Jordan shaking hands and doing a post game interview?

    Sincerely,

    LeBron

  • He was a competitor and have class to shaking hands and do interview as a capitan of the team...LBJ just go home like a child.

  • @ausar02 WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOU BRO. INSTEAD OF TAKING HIS ANGER OUT ON TV, HE KNEW HE GOT BESTED BY THE PISTONS. TRUE CHAMPIONS, AS MJ IS, YOU FOCUS YOUR ENERGY ON GETTING BETTER WITH THE TIME OFF. AND WHAT DID THAT PRODUCE OVER THE NEXT 3 YEARS? "MJ wasn't a competitor" get outta here with that.

  • Pistons over Bulls in 7th

  • The last year that Jordan would not regarded as the greatest. Look at how the Pistons played Jordan on defense they were some geniuses. Phil Jackson had a very attentive team to the triangle offense then. That was some stiffling defense.

  • the last time jordan ever walked off the court a loser with the bulls...95 against orlando does not count...if he was with the team all year and in good shape, they win it that year too

  • So I guess those two years with the Wizards don't count either. Jordan was a great player, but why does everyone have to make excuses for his losses?

  • He said with the Bulls retard.

  • I was making a point. Read the whole post before calling people names, in 1995, Jordan lost, he was trying to say that the loss "didn't count" because Jordan wasn't in top form when he clearly was still a damn good player. He gave the Knicks a double nickel that year, the same Knicks who won the East the previous season.

  • you never know. thats a guess. it happened to most superstar player you just never known. possiblity is high.

  • Isiah broke his wrist the following year and then hurt his ankle in game 1 vs celtics and dumars was exhausted cuz he had to play the one and the two-plus their age That's what got the bulls on their run.

  • Pippen missed most of the 1997-1998 season, other players were injured, still the bulls were able to win 62 games. 35 year old Jordan won his 6th Championship. Don't talk about age. That's BS.

  • Comment removed

  • Damn this hurts 2 watch

  • The Pistons didn't disrespect the Bulls with bullshit comments before games like when MJ said the Pistons were bad for basketball and all that crap he and Phil Jackson pulled to get the League on their side...that's why the Pistons walked off

  • You were the ones who called yourselves "Bad Boys." Proudly too. The Bulls just said loudly what everyone was thinking to themselves quietly. I'll give them credit for those two titles, they had great teams, but they were not the cleanest teams in the world.

  • shit??? MJ really took that loss well on the court after the game...i know that in one of his highlight DVD's he was upset on the plane going back to Chicago.

...and notice how big of a star MJ was at in this period of time, that Pat O"Brian interviewed MJ in defeat instead of Isaiah, Dumars, or Lambieer in a winning effort.

  • ...i think it's more a smart move then show who is who couse it was the last game for Mike in that season and the last chance to do interview.

  • Yeah he took well during the interview he tried to save face but you know he was pissed. Pippen punked out becaus of a headache, Grant Hodges and Cartwright couldn't hit anything, Paxson was hurting, BJ Armstrong's play was out of control. No one on the Bulls team played well. Isiah was right they just weren't ready and they're play clearly showed

  • @anointedvictor

MJ is/was a fraud. He had a public persona and then excoriated and cut down his teammates behind closed doors. That's the real difference between his perception and Kobe's: Kobe wasn't protected by the media...they know about Karla Knafel, Will "Vanderbilt" (what he called Perdue, saying he didn't deserve a Big 10 last name), punching out Kerr, bullying Rodney McCray, etc. MJ is actually a megalomaniac...but he can jump, so it was allowed to slide. SMH

  • @cbaldwinjr bitch bitch bitch......smh at you

  • @WushuDude13

SMH at your mom for not using a pill

  • @anointedvictor

MJ has really gone up a few notches for me and I already have a very high opinion of him. I know that it must have been devastating for him to have his team beaten so decisively by the Pistons. As you said, he really vented his frustration on the flight back to Chicago.

  • after watching that.hard to visualise THIS bulls team win 3 ring in a row.ZEKE was right.BULLS were simply not ready for the crown due to there very POOR play on the road in this series.

  • The bulls didn't walk out the court with a minute left to play...
