  • Hes using chocolate for the lines?

  • Opinions are like...

  • what is the white liquid on top? is that also a milk?

  • There's an amazing snobbery about what constitutes 'real' latte art. Outsiders to the coffee world find it quite bizarre such a snobbery exists.

I appreciate advanced free-pour latte art but I have to say, the snobbery on comments of this page is typically male at best, downright pathetic at worst.

  • I won't drink it ..ever this crap...sorry don't seem drinkable..

  • Whole milk is the way to go. That foam middle rail on top looked like hard nonfat clumpy foam. Id rather a person slurp up a fresh poured, still foamy aromatic latte like a Guiness beer fresh poured into a mug, than one that sat while the barista did art on top, and separated like a Guiness thats been sitting. You know what I mean?

  • ok, some people just need to have everything lol, first it was coffee, then expresso, then capachinos, now special designs, what next?

  • what milk is used for frothing?

  • @als786 In this movie I use 3,2% fat milk. But skimmed milk will work as well. Ofcourse this will totally change taste of the drink.

  • @als786 that's it?

  • not that cool compared to other videos...

  • cute! yummy

  • What do you need to make it home made? I really want to practice so i could do this for her Birthday.

  • but... i thought the white stuff was to sort of come up from the bottom while it was poured out of the cup... no dumped on with a spoon... woooo i is tired... maybe i needs me one of these fancy pants coffee

  • i know how to make it only latte and milk

  • i want a freaking capaccino now

  • i've seen better, sorry.

  • @SeaBastian020 There is nothing to be sorry about :) I've seen better too.

  • @wasiek01 (: Yeaaa

  • @SeaBastian020 You may have seen better ,

    But could you do better

  • @DOGChels not meaning to hate, but you asked. yes, i probably could. i've had some experience in this and i could probably do better.

  • cool, I guess.

  • i dont think doing the art with a spoon is for amateurs, it definitely gives a cleaner, crisper look than just the free pour and allow for the inventive minds to create signature looks that are impossible to do with free pour

  • spoons are for amatures... try to practice without using spoons ^^

  • Bla, bla, bla...

  • @jrwilliam7 Love to see you try make this.. bahahaha

  • They do say spooning the foam is for amateurs.. I've seen more impressive art done in small time cafe's. Althought I can't claim I can do any better.. yet.

  • And I don't claim I do the best coffee art in the world. For me the most important thing is to impress customers. And they like this kind of art better than free pour. Baristas more appreciate free pour. I know that. But it's not so important for me. And in my other movies you can see rosetta and heart too. Good luck with trainig.

  • Good point. And I would appreciate if more Baristas were as intelligent as u sound. Sorry I was a bit harsh, I'm just used to arrogant cafe owners where I'm from. They seem more out to impress with their "skills", forgetting modesty is a very valuabled and appreciated aspect of their jobs. Bravo with what ur capable of, and I hope u get even better!

  • Thanks.

  • i like that

  • @r3never Thanks.

  • misskittekat said below:

This is a little bit easy.

Others make elephants and dragons with the foam.

I find it better without the chocolate syrup.

That would be art if you created some kind of shape while you pour the milk into the cup.

  • Very original! :)

  • que tipo de crema y chocolate usas??

  • "Si, Alfrè...bà a 'mbarat a usar u latt e no a ci u mintar cu ru cucchiarin!" ha detto mio fratello

  • "Si Alfrè...però 'mbarat a uasr 'u latt" dice mio fratello

  • latte art is so awsome idk why

  • ew.. chocolate in my flatwhite.. don't do that.

  • Well, you can always order without chocolate :)

  • the real latte art is pouring!!!!!

  • Ahhh... and this is what? Fake latte art?

  • amatores

  • des is scho a bissl simpel

andere machen aus dem schaum elefanten drachen

ohne des schokosyrup gefällts mir besser,

des is ja dann kunst, wenns beim einfüllen der milch etwas ergibt

  • das hätte ich auch gerade noch hinbekommen -.-

  • Is there special equipment needed to make coffee art?

  • good espresso machine which keeps the pressure at 9 bars, no more, no less, good grinder which you can adjust to fit your machine, good tamping, good milk steaming skills, good barista skills.... oh scratch all that, you just need to be a god in the art of barista

  • pretty~

  • thats retarded...i could do that...

  • Then show us, bigmouth. You wouldnt even get the milkfoam done.
