  • one of the best chi sao on the internet

  • nice flow !!!

  • Excelente demostracion!!!

  • Sifu Frank Ringeisen - simply the best!!!

  • I want the complete vid :))))....i wanna see the full chi sao

  • Excellent!!

  • For the most part they are just going back an forth letting eachother demonstrate techniques. It's not actual reaction. One guy is allowing the other to demonstrate it's not free style.

  • impressive stuff, good control as well, very cool

  • Perfect Style !!!!!

    thx 4 uploading <

  • Good, fast and not just brutal like all other VC-clips,

    but effective and controled movements.

    I realy like it.

    Mantis Kungfu from Germany.

  • this is really quite exceptional.

  • The European WingTsun Masters Are So Much Better Than The Chinese Masters

  • Very good video, just what i want to see

  • Awesome chi sau, well done.

  • Love the ending with neither of the two able to gain the advantage.

  • fantastic

  • Why did it stop?? I want to see the rest!! Where's the rest?? Is someone capable of finding out?

    Peace..

  • Real McCoy, top chi sao.

  • nice stuff.......how long have these guys been practicing?

  • What i love to see is how it´s flowing , for me the only real fightin techn.

  • sehr schön und sauber ausgeführt , ich glaube das sind die Programme bis 8SG oder nicht?

  • Is there a reason why they practice chi sao without footcontact? if so.. please let me know!

  • great video

  • i like your skill, way better than mine.

  • This is chi-Sau at master level. I'm only an advanced student in WT. And I still have trouble doing 1st Section Chi-Sau at that speed without making mistakes.

  • The great Wing Tsun masters!

    Frank Ringeisen vs Thomas Mannes

  • Those two Sifus are really good. For any guys who said something about their Chi Sao, I recomend you visit their schools or any of their seminars and you will know exactly what I mean by good. They are the real deal of Wing Chun.

  • It is fast. What kind of fitness program is this? I want to learn this to lose weight.

  • Chi-Sau is one of the techniques from a Martial Art called Wing Tsun. I'm sure you can find a WT school in your area if you type Wing Tsun/ Your area.

I highly recomend that you give it a try. I've been training in WT for a year now and it's done wonders for me.

  • it's called sticky hands kind of training they use in wing chun but bruce lee's JKD also use this kind of training

  • This is called Wing Chun Kung Fu. They are practicing "sticky hands" which is a form of sparring practice that teaches sensitivity.

  • Damn they move fast!

  • nice video

  • I have so much repsect for these uys wow any martial artests that perfects their mind and body definatly has benefits in confidence intelligence and flexibility strength ect.

  • It is very good girls

  • But it is good1

  • hehe u guyz should see the chinese version of that ;)

  • Looks Good!

  • remember just cause some half assed jack ass says its no good does not mean it really isn't. Ving Tsun is not Mandarin doofus, what are you smoking. VT/WT/WC are all derivitives from the word Wing Chun, but had to change for copy wright infringment purposes. What a freak, really funny, good Chi Sau example! Go germans!

  • top

  • h3h3, a lot master-fighters here! It's realy funny!

  • Oh Chi Sao again. Go to the UFC, lets see how this will work.

  • you can see them hitting the pressure points, it's truely brilliant how they can dodge their way in right through their enemy's defences, emagine this on an untrained attacker, deadly

  • Just guys here are saying stuff alot. are they sure of what they are saying. I mean someone like Sifu Mannes can really make you fight yourself. I mean you will guide him to your defeat. Everybody trained with him knows this and are proud of such a Sifu.

  • If you saw two people having sex would you comment on them saying that looks crap what the guy is doing.. But the problem is your not on the recieving or giving end.....

  • It doesn't look good...

  • You have never seen chi-sau or what?

  • AxelderKonig, I'm allready waiting for a month for you to post a video staring you doing better when is it coming?

  • remember just because it looks good dosent mean it is!

  • looks like some good wing chun

  • oh i am wong shun leung method ving tsun btw.

Mabey you should google his name before geting all defensive like a leung ting zelot sallah.

  • Its amazing to me that you try talk technically about a demonstartion that is at a level much higher than your own.Go moan about all those sloppy 'vingtsun' chi sau demonstrations instead(on youtube) that have no comments because nobody wants to watch them.

  • wow more boasting.

I realy couldent care to style bash ok i think that wt is crap but thats not my point. Anyway no your wrong in mandarin its ving tsun

  • I speak mandarin and 咏春 is pronounced Yong Chun. Whoever told you that is not able to speak Chinese. If you are still not convinced ask somebody you know that is a native mandarin speaker. I think you should listen to Franky Lau because he is Chinese.

  • No it isn't. In Putonghua (the "Mandarin" term for "mandarin") "Wing Chun" or "Wing Chun Kuen" is pronounced "Yong Chun quan". "Ving Tsun" is just a transliteration of the Cantonese pronunciation of the same characters as "Yong Chun", "Wing Chun", and so on.

  • that is sum excellent chi sau

  • True Masters of WT (or however you spell it).

Sifu Mannes kicks ass, true Warrior and Teacher.

It`s not about Organisations it´s about the Art of Fighting!

  • Damn right you tell em!!! lol...

  • your standard wing chun school does'nt prepare you for war like the EWTO and IWTA which is more finacially and realisticly successful then you any othe wing chun branch. The IWTA and EWTO are the most organized and biggest wing chun organization in the world.

  • Europeans are tinacious hard working people who determined to make things realist and effective as possible. they have no time to play games, and the reason for taht is they prepare the for real situations unlike your stand wing chun school.

  • Well, that's what I really hate. Someone evaluating stuff by watching videos. I personally met Sifu Mannes and knows exactly how proffessional he is. Although years has passed. He still looks fit more than any guy in his 20's. Above that his speed is increadible. I beleive that EWTO has produced amazing figure in real self-defence fighting systems.

  • sifuvt i think mardukalpha is saying all of this stuff because he's a standard wing chun/wing chun guy with limited knowledge of the ewto or the iwta. must wing chun/ving tsun guys never heard of wing tsun's blitz defence or certified grading system.

  • Ah it's good to see master demonstrate some really nice chi sau. surgi surgi

  • mardukalpha. What do you want to prove by your point?. If you beleive that IWTA or EWTO is silly. Go to any nightclub in Heidelberg anf fight the bouncers there. Most of them are trained in Wing Chun. Give it a try and see.

  • These two WT Masters flow well together while doing Chi-sau

  • NOW YOU SEE GERMAN WING TSUN'S TRUE EFFECTIVENESS DON'T YOU MARDUKALPHA.

  • WOW! And yet its ment to be internal so it shoudent do anything like that you have shown you knowlege well hey i wonder is this leung ting student as good as your sifu? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdUfel14H_E&mode=related&search=

  • Above that his punch is the most powerful one I saw till now. I witnessed in a seminar how heputs the whole power in the punch and go BOOOM. Getting one of his punches in your head could make you cranuim crack.

  • Sifu Mannes is my instructor. If you try to cross hands with him. You get hit 7 times on your neck before knowinng what is going on. Above that he is extremely strong. Once he was practising with a guy that was at least 110 KG. He pushed him with no effort and threw him down easily.

  • I think its an awesome clip.. If you like WingTsun and understand it then you know what they are doing....

  • well spoken...20

  • i think these guys look like they are having a blast cool calm and can move ...nice clip

  • very well said oriater

  • I dont rate this at all to Mechanical not natural like fucking androids Chi sau is very real in a fight once contact is made through the bridge arms and your attacks are blocked thats when it comes into play and its not rolling like you see here all nice and in place theres got to be disruption of the balance of the enemy footwork Chi gerk etc

  • well a boxer punches....

  • Chi-Sao techniques are applicable in a fight as soon as some one gets range. When they touch your fore-arm (Kiu) then you can start to apply sticky hands applications. This leads you to even closer ranges of fighting, like trapping and take down ranges. That will lead you to optional Submission and breaking techniques. It is just a training drill to help develop your sensitivity and flow while fighting. Good Chi-Sao is done with minimal resistance to your partner's force/energy.

    -trenoops

  • perhaps but i'll say this leung ting is a con and wing tsun tradmark? lol im not looking for a war i honestly couldent be bothered but some people care more for money than teaching.

  • @mardukalpha you are just a kid. speaking like you are an expert but you surely know nothing about Leung Ting WingTsun. And you argument with internal art etc. ? Your behaviour has nothing to do with anything internal. Do you know this both guys do Wing Tsun every day for many years? Do you know they are both some of the most respected teachers out there? Do you know how long it takes to come to practition level WT? Go there and tell them! You show no respect, so you never trained any internal.

  • you are at a point where you should show what you can do... or anybody you think is "better"... not in slow motion but with speed and heard as the sifus do in the video... with your professional eyes you will have seen that they do mistakes for their partners one after the other... I think you can not see what it is about, because you have learned it different...

by the way it is about respect... you talk to much without knowing enough about the persons you talk about.

  • *i meant knock out blows not blocks its stupid the dont allow you to edit posts

  • In this video this has been neglected somewhat which is why i voiced my critisiem. Its good but only good certanly not as good as people are saying. Im not trying to start flamewars or get into the politics im just stating my opinian if you choose to dismis it thats your choice. However i realy do not agree at all that ving tsun is at its best ever since its come out into the world past yip mans school their have been many examples of ving tsun that is not ving sun.

  • Sure they can punch fast andmore than likely very hard but this is not karate you dont just want hard strikes you want knock out blocks and moreover you want them at the cost of little effort through the economy of structured movement that draws force form the ground.

  • However since ving tsun (ving tsun because that is the mandarin name wing chun is the cantonese and we prefer to say ving tsun because people mocke us i have no idea why you call it wing tsun)is all about infighting its important to know your opponnats movements and just as importantly if not more so how to step and keep your own balance while your opponant is trying to throw you off.

That is why i think that chi sao should not be neglected like this.

  • oh oh...Wing Chun is cantonese in mandarin its yong chun

  • @FrankyLau

    what are you talking about?

Wing Chun is originated from Canton(Gaungdong), it's certainly follow the pronounced in Cantonese. Don't be silly & stubborn.

  • wingtzun i wouldent have commented if i didnt this these guys where doing alright. Its the fact that the have got the right idea but are making many mistakes that agrovates me. These guys appear to train hard and yes that is fine chi sao. But is fine good enough?

Sure i here lots of people say things like well its not like your realy going to use chi sao in a real fight anyway. Mabey not.

  • I disagree with what people say here! It is fine Chi-Sao. And it is powerfull. As it is from the best and hardest days of Wing Tsun one can not say "Whats happening to this style" because thats the way it has been for a long time. I have seen both of them at the Budo Gala 1989. By the way I am not in the EWTO...

  • i really agree with mardukalpha's comments, especially about their speed, thats ridiculous, its not the way u practice _ing _un, mby its the difference between wing tsun and ving tsun i dunno =P

  • Go explain to go those guys who are 6th Practioners they will smash you too pieces....

  • 5.Never Ever put your advancing leg out without your weight behind it!!!!!!! God what if someone kicks it!!??? What if they grab it??? Not to mention it makes you stance unstable.

6.Dont lift the heels of you feet off the ground unless your steping. That is do not tilt your foot if your stance was better and you weight was sunk this would not be an issue.

But other than that it was pretty good ^_^

  • 3. Never tilt your head up while puching upward anyone who knows fighting well enough understands why this is a no no.

4.That side steping was discraceful that is not ving tsun. Learn to Pivat this is a reasion why steping is improtant in chi sau exercises.

  • 1. Never ever let you opponant arch your back over ever!!!

2.Never rise the weight of your body when punching upward this leads to being caught off balance as well as lessening the impact of your punching.

  • I dont know mabey for this case i am being a bit harsh i mean there speed is very impressive and the generaly are doing well enough to hurt your opponant.

However i do think that their stance is to narrow their footwork is bad and their weight is not sunk into the ground enough. Also its hard to tell but i dont think their waist is locked hard enough.

  • But still these guys have the right idea lol

I mean at least they do in comparison too that steriod man and that japanese idiot neither of whome had ANYCLUE! Anyway an idiot will just look at this and instantly try to discredtit everything i said.

(which is why it's better to be modest and vacarious)

  • Once again people are showing off too much by focusing on speed rather then technique.

    Whats happening to this style???

    Is it realy dead?

I dont know how much longer i can stand to see things like this it realy hurts me.

  • OMG that was not very good realy i honestly think that things like youtube destroy the image of ving tsun. I know i should be modest but i'll take my aminimity here for all it's worth. That was not good chi sau you have to focuse on steping aswell not to mention more then at least ten times i saw the arm OVEREXTENDED and off centerline for god's sake bend your knees and sink your stand all your opponant need do is advance on you further forward by steping and you are caught off balance!

  • wow i use to spin my arms in circless cuz it looked childish when i was a kid here this whole time i was hardcore wingtsun

  • hehe their good, very fast, but they do the basic chi sao very fast, how can u put a forward power on your opponent with that speed, just a little useless like that, but the combinations they use look quite good hehe

  • There is forward power but a different type of FORWARD force... You don't feel it but it is there and its ready....

  • What us this CLIP off of...!? I want to get a HQ version of it!

  • Good old WingTsun masters only few more grades till I'm their level! :p I love WT

  • Ha Ha! yaa! zittle crazi at ze end

  • Ack Tun!! It'sza Awesome
