It was never Ray...It was always Heatley, Alfredson and Speeza...Those three never fucking showed up when it counted and now it shows...They blamed Ray for everything when he was there...Not that he's gone...What are there excuses now..What happened to the Goalie that they used to run him out of Ottawa...I absolutely love seeing that Idiot Murray on TV with his fucked ass trying to explain what's going on....LOL good times in Ottawa....blame Emery now.

You have a very big bias in favor of Emery. I have always been an Emery fan since his days with the SOO Greyhounds. Emery was a distraction and ultimately led to his own failure. Emery will be back in the NHL, but not until he matures. Other teams won't settle for that shit either.

Huh? What name am I dropping? No, Emery is not as mature as you think. If I'm late for work more than 10 times, I'm fired or given a very serious talking to. Emery was playing in the NHL - which I am sure was a childhood dream for him. He's working in something he loves. So, he's just a type of person who can't show up on time ... well maybe you should try to make some progress and try something different like setting your alarm clock earlier or setting your clock 20 minutes fast?

well i have to agree with you there. You have to follow the rules...I honestly think though...He was viewed as a thug by the league and that's why noone wanted to take a chance on him. I've played hockey and my kids now are in hockey so i know alot about it. But i will say one thing..Being from Vancouver...Ray Emery is head a shoulder ahead of Alex Auld. He played for us back in 03...He was terrible then and he's terrible now.

It's not like he hasn't been told about it. & its not like he's a couple minutes late before the practice. He was often just arriving when practice was already underway. If you've ever played hockey, you know it takes you quite a while to get ready.

Emery played well for the Sens, but its not all about just being a great player. I'm not going to fault him for any of this bad driving nonsense, because I feel that is a bunch of bullsh*t.

Emery needs to mature & realize what he lost this season.

It's funny how its the Sens fault he is no longer in the league. I guess the Sens decide whether the other 29 teams can have him or not ... oh wait, thats right ... they put him on the trading block - nobody wanted him ... then they put him on waivers - still nobody wanted him. Emery can only blame himself. (But I agree the media - Cdn and American blew some things out of proportion ... but at the end of the day, if Emery didn't commit those actions - none of this would be on the news)

I agree with you on one thing. Emery didn't help himself. Now That's true. But come on now. How does a man that leads his team to the stanley cup finals one year and be out of the league the next. Many high profile players have done alot worst than show up late for pratice and fight with there team mates. Reason why he isn't in the league is alot bigger than just the Ottawa senators. Ottawa sucked two seasons ago and went to the Stanley Cup finals. It was never only Ray Emery's fault, but he was a large part of the problem. Now it is a matter of chemistry and finding the right fit. Ottawa will be fine. It's better that they are finding out how to win early in the season rather than later. Heatley-Alfie-Spezza have not been playing together, in case you haven't noticed. Please watch the games, don't tell me why the Sens suck with ideas straight from the media.

EMERY was used as the fall guy once again...not only by the media but the coaching staff and the GM as well. No one ever mentions Alfredsson, Heatly or Speeza..WHERE WERE THEY AND WHAT HAVE THEY CONTRIBUTED TO THE TEAM..Especially in the playoffs. I guess they decided to take the week off as usual when it becomes crunch time in the playoffs...What a joke some of you have become.

Emery was screwed from the moment he signed that new contract. They brought in that new goalie because Emery was getting to big and he had to be taught a lesson...I really don't care what other people on here think of me or my opinion...But i do know that Racism is very much alive and well in the NHL against blacks...Same shit goes on in the NBA against whites as well. Is it Gerber's fault that Emery was injured? Why the hell would you take out a hot goaltender and replace him with a guy who hasn't played in 4-6 months? You never remove a hot goaltender. Hell, the exact thing happened to Gerber the post season the Canes won the cup.

5 minutes late into practice. Most players get to practice at least minimum of 30 minutes prior to the start of practice. Have you ever played sports before?

Fact is, Emery was constantly showing up late for practice throughout the last two seasons... guess what - it never came up until a season and a half later.

Most players are not late for practice and if they are its rare occurances.
