  • from hee haw to this, who knew? A very special treat

  • I have the same guitar but he is so passionate, he kicks ass always

  • silly people arguing over who is better at what. music is played from the heart.

  • Wonderful!*************

    Many thanks...

  • any dssagreements show me otherwise

  • the baddest mofo so far..........of the human race that is

  • @grneyesinco I think mane Gar Tornumina of The Marvionians may be better

  • .....and on a 12 string! DIOS MIOS!

  • @a323motive My sentiments exactly. I love the sound of a 12 string.

  • @MrXAVIERDB

    " shine Roys shoes"

. Roy is s superb guitarist, have him play.... youtube.com/watch?v=MgIC6KOFySk,

    .

    in the blind like JF.

    .

roy is incredible playing CHORDS, but jose is a better OVER ALL guitarist.

    good day

  • @zegatone... nah...Roy isn't even a classical guitarist. His range is bigger than Jose's. He can play rock, jazz, bluegrass and rips banjo and bass as good as anyone ever...go check out all of his work and then come back to talk about being an OVER ALL guitarist...

  • @traxx19rw

    like i say.

.Roy is an extraordinary guitar player, ans i have heard him longer than you have, unless you are older than me, and we are grateful he left baseball and took music instead, but i repeat, ..have him play blind side to side with feliciano,....under the same circumstances,...jose take the edge..

    .

classical or not.....except playing chords....i am almost certain

    .

  • @zegatone... I have sat beside Jose in a recording studio. He is amazing. If you are talking about their respective performances of Malaguena, I can see your argument. If you are talking about OVER ALL guitar playing as you stated...Feliciano has no stronghold outside of classical/flamenco. I believe that a blind guitar player should always have the edge, as outside distractions are limited.

  • @traxx19rw

    no stronghold outside classical"

    are you kidding me?

he has being playing rock, jazz, swing and others since being a teenager.

    .

have you heard him play country rock and others with the great ones, including Crosby, Cash, Santana, Carl Perkins, Merle Travis. or play M/J, or Hendrix?.

    etc etce tc

  • @traxx19rw check his playing at 17,,,,,,,, have a good one. . i take either one over most of them, any way. . i do not believe that current list for the best guitarist in the world, but any way, . no one can take away the greatness Roy has. have a good one. and enjoy both of them gabriel
  • @MrXAVIERDB

Roy i like,,,,,,but have him play blind......

  • Roy-you are the man!

  • Jose. Period.

  • One of the best malaguenas I've ever heard

    Awesome player!

  • this man is a GYUITAR GOD, his playin 2 notes at the same time almost perfectly man. holy the best version of my favorite malaguena i've ever heard.

  • think about the fact he's doing this on a 12 string. picking and chording are the same but when you hybrid pick like he is doing ( fingers and pick ) it brings a whole new feeling to how hard this is to play and get both strings when he finger picks it

  • Roy and Malmsteen should tour together.

  • Thanks for the awesome clarity of sound on this one. Roy is amazing.

  • Roy Clark ...... the only one i've ever seen that can play two songs at once ... clearly, precisely ...... i'm sure they are more ... but i haven't seen them .....

  • @ninja77warrior search Tommy Emmanuel

  • @ninja77warrior Jose Feliciano does it way better and hes blind person ; ) look at it

  • I was looking for his rendition of Black Saphire. Racing The Mule is also awesome. No matter what instrument he plays, or what song he plays, Roy is The Man.

  • I came in looking for something else and found this recording of another of my favourite songs. Excellent rendition. I would never have expected the feeling and skill but obviously that was a stereo-typical conclusion. Will have to look for more of his recordings in this area. If you know any let me know.

  • I am pleasantly surprised. Came looking for one song and found a master of one of my favourites. Excellent rendition. Who would have thought. It's sorta like the Jim Nabors thing. Love it!!!!!

  • I saw Roy Clark several years ago at a country music fest in South Carolina. While performing this song, he was joined on stage by Dickey Betts, who was also on the bill with Great Southern. The both of them tore it up. Clark is one of the most underrated talents out there. He should be in both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

  • I dont see any slow down

  • 4:27 - 4:38

best segment of any version I've heard

  • He is not gone, If he is don't tell Roy he thinks he still alive and living in Branson. However from what i hear he can not play like he could.

  • He can still tear it up with the best of them, saw him in concert a few months back. Not as fast as he used to be, but every bit as good.

  • This Is One of the most Talented man of our time ...Its A Shame they Will wait till after he is gone to realise that ... Hes An Awesome Man ...Paula

  • Roy Clark is the MAN!
