I like this video, it's refreshing, I walked these streets. And it's cool, & its the way I remember it all. The scenes at the ports.; The white sandy beaches; school kids in uniform; boys playing soccer; The cows on the beach!: The sturdy mamas; the bagarashia's; and the warm Indian Ocean. The clam. I can even smell this.. I come back to this once in a while. Asante.
yani kwa kweli Dar is the best city in the world. My hometown. I moved from Dar to Wash. DC when I was 9 yrs old, but even now at 20 yrs old, I still miss it, and there are a lot of good memories from nyumbani. God bless Tanzania.
estoy leyendo al escritor polaco Ryszard Kapuscinski en el libro "Viajes de Heródoto" que habla de lo interesante de este lugar . Leonardo Sarro reporter from Uruguay

I went to IST for 7 years (also on Chole Rd for some time). Great place, miss it a lot - even with the constant power-cuts!!!
Wondering if the Alcove still exists? Best drumsticks-of-heaven and a great beriyani!
Can't wait to go there again for a visit!!!

No, it's South Beach, the one you have to catch the ferry to get to (that's why the ferry is featured in the video!) Also, not buses, Daladalas!!!
