@onyx081 Yeah, not to mention the fact that it was marketed as a horror film, so the intended audience completely ignored it, and the few people who did see it didn't get it.
@jdude907 I don't really blame them for the marketing because it does has elements of classic horror so I understand why they went that route, especially given the dark feel of the movie. I think it would be hard to market it as any one thing because it's a mix of pretty much everything.
This movie is so underrated. Unfortunately, it got completely overshadowed by The Matrix, which was released around the same time.
