Hi! I am trying Polyphasic Sleep and recording all my results, and how I'm feeling. I am specifically doing the Dymaxion Sleep Schedule(2hours a day) which is every 6 hours, you sleep for 30minutes. I discuss tips that I have found out from experience that can make the experience way easier to accomplish! Sorry if you call this spam, I thought that if your watching Polyphasic Sleep videos on youtube, you might want to read about my experience as well. I feel great!
Hey man, good luck with getting back on track. Its the BIGGEST hurdle with oversleeping. What hours are you doing? Either way, keep at it no matter what. Even if it means resetting non stop, just keep going! -Rick
@shuttupjerk I was actually doing this a year ago haha. Trust me, I gave it everything I had. Was sleep deprived for a whole school semester trying to get on it :P
I've had a couple times (especially during the day) where I lay down for a full 20 minutes without falling a sleep. Do you have any idea what I should do when this happens to keep my schedule from being thrown too far off?
That's what I thought would happen, but I did this for about ten days and still had problems falling asleep. If I was at home it was no problem, but I think since some of my nap times had me trying to sleep in the school library or various classrooms with other students around, my brain became more active and prevented me from sleeping despite my sleep depraved state.
Maybe it really needs to be done during a period of time when you can stay home the whole day.
Yea one of my naps falls right onto lunch during school. I am debating if i should just skip this nap or try to find a place to sleep lol.. the only thing i dont want to happen during school is to not beable to wake up...

Once you start this, on the second day your body will really start to crave sleep; you will fall asleep right away.
