I fail to see how this is an ode to earth, i dont intend to be mean but a large proportion of this is showing backward cultures and in the event of disaster cannot hope to survive. We send a lot of money to countries and they do not act to stop the same thing happening again. I feel that a more accurate representation of earth would be a city. it is the height of human achievement, people living in huge numbers, safe,clean and usually happy. It is people like these that create this videos

People living in cities use up far more resources and contribute far more to environmental destruction than people living in "backward" cultures. Those of us living in cities take far more from undeveloped nations in resources than we could ever contribute back in the pittance of aid we send back.
