superrrrrrrrrrrrrb!!! please help me!1 i play the cajon and i like very much the set up of your cajon player with the small pedal? can you explain your set up a lil bit if you dont mind??
anyway thank you very much and keep it up !!!!!!!!!!
@TheNickdrummer Hi, thank you very much. The pedal is a "foot cabasa" by Meinl. There are two modes you can choose with a screw: 1: the cabasa moves only by stepping down (that is the way I used it here). 2. The cabasa moves by stepping down and moves by coming up. In this mode you can play 8 notes with you foot and get 16 notes as a result. For me this pedal is like a dream coming true.
David, this is probably one of the best arrangements I've heard of this song. Is it your own variation on Eva's version? Or is it like her arragement? I've never heard anyone make it sound quite like that. If I wanted to learn how you've played it here with the same chording, where would I find the music? Is it sheet music somewhere? Or a midi file that would help people learn it?
It is a mix of different ideas: The intro is very much inspired by Pat Metheny's "Phase Dance". The main theme is pretty close to the piano version of Carsten Gerlitz arrangement (Pop Ballads, Piano Lounge), so I would recommend this. But I had to adapt it because the sound of the Chapman Stick.
I hope this will help you, otherwise I can send you a midifile of my playing.
@idaveit Thanks for your reply, it's really a wonderful version of the song. I'd love to have the midi file if you would be so kind. I have a Yamaha YPG535 that I could load the file into, and that would be very helpful. You really did beautiful job with the song.
Thanks for your reply Dave. I've read that the velocity proplem (sudden and random velocity peaks) with the black keys should be solved with the latest firmware version (1.6 by now). So overall this should be a keyboard to be considered when looking for piano-like experience I reckon. Like your play. Keep up the good work :-)

Hi Dave, are there any drawbacks on this keyboard, cause from reviews I got the impression this is one of the best piano keyboards out there?
