You mean experience life in a congested, filthy, noisy, polluted, miserable, overcrowded hellhole where most people do not even have fresh drinking water. Mumbai, Kolkotta, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi - these metro cities are like canker sores on our country. The govt ought to bring prosperity to the villages so that people lead healthy lives there, instead of feeding money into these disgusting pits of misery and make people flock there from villages.
with all the above adjectives, you forgot some-mumbai: a city where people will open up their homes to strangers in a 26th July flood; a city where people will celebrate bdays in an over crowded local train,to make the harsh life bearable;a city where people will harness their dreams and many will finally accomplish them, too; a city where people will come on the roads to support one another (reservation bill). That my friend is MUMBAI. Its the people who make mumbai and not the inanimate things
People supporting each other during a time of natural disaster is not something that occurs only in Mumbai. It occurs in small towns & villages too, all over the world, even in the much-reviled, decadent, selfish Amrika. So, nothing special about Mumbai.
Nice ad. Do you have the one where the taxi driver gives a torn/fake rupee note and how it passes around eventually coming back to him? I think it is by times of india, if you do, please upload!
Once a MUMBAIKER always a MUMBAIKER !

HATE is a very strong word to use?
with a user name like MILDPACE it is a bit odd using of such strong words like HATE?
Harishpat 2 years ago

Ofcors the same mumbai. it is these ppl that make mumbai what it is. that put life into mumbai.
yogithebest 4 years ago
But they lead miserable lives. They were not born just to make the cities enjoyable for a few lucky people like us.
xmtz 4 years ago
So its up to them to decide how they want to live their lives.
