My nephew drowned in the Florida Keys diving for lobsters. The Coast Guard said the death was negligent on behalf of the people he was diving with. He was only in his early 20's and I believe it was a place called Sombrero Key. Good video and thanks for sharing. :)

This morning I saw the lobster boat "Sunrise Earth" on Discovery HD. Looked so pretty, it was a calm beautiful day, but I noticed the lobster boats are more enclosed, I am sure you must go out in some bad weather!
they are the most besat lobster you'll ever taste! besides i llive in florida and i've eaten lobsters from maine and florida. i gotta say florida has got it better. besides thier easier to catch when they have to claws!! but hunting seeason is only in august sadly. if you go lobstering after or before that, you'll go to jail. only restuarant owners are allowed to
is there a large industry for florida lobsterman? in maine every coastal town has many many lobsterman. or is catching lobsters something that people do for a little extra money when the season is open?
there is no large industry but usually they catch them just for the shells, or fo rthe restuarants. Most of them just kill them and use them as trophies liek thier shells or claws. there are many canals that have them to. and i remember while i was swimming in a canal i saw the most biggest crab ever! it had pincers the size of my head!!but yeah they usually just have them fishing for extra money.. there are very few lobstermen
