The "improvements" only killed the difficulty of the original dead rising. this may be a good wii game but no plays the wii for core games. Hell the only people that play the wii I know are my parents.

actually ive played the 360 version and there was no point in taking pictures i went the whole game without taking pictures and it didn't change the game for me at all so i'm glad they got rid of that in the Wii version

you cant compare the graphics in the cutscenes because they are the exact same not including the consoles different resolution outputs. the cutscenes that play on the wii are just recorded movie files from the 360 version's cutscenes.
graphics and amount of zombies on screen aside, the wii version cuts out about 50% of the map space that would be on the 360 version by not letting Frank jump and adding roped off/ barricaded areas. plus the game has no where near as many weapons and most psycos are either gone or made into lame zombie forms. and your really mainly supposed to use guns due to the RE4 engine and zombies constantly dropping ammo. its not even dead rising any more, everything that made it unique had been stripped

u see the mistake the devloper made was using the resident evil 4 engine. cuz resident evils engine is made for resident evil. not 100000 zombies. they should have made this game from the ground up with its own engine. prob would have been a lot better

@SephXIII88 lol you're right, you can compare something that's the same. 360 = normal engine/in game models Wii = recordings made from the 360 version.
As he mentioned, it was a bit redundant making the wii version if it wasnt going to have the camera aspect involved. The game is about him going there to get the story of a lifetime through photo journalism.
I love the wii version cause you can take your time finishing a mission or leveling up with no time. Trust me, I lvd up to 39. Also, you can buy weapons and buy as many as you like. Also, you dont run out of it. However, you use ammo, but you can always kill zombies to get ammo. So pretty much you have unlimited ammo. And you forgot the health bar. You get a different health bar and can be raised every time you level up. But you can mix iron with a blue shake I think. And you get a burst of hp.
u kind of messed up when u talked about the graphics the wii use's videos from the 360 version for the cutscenes not the games engine like the 360 version
another thing, when u got transciever calls in xbox, did u ever try, "running away and hanging up" as if u hang up he continue to call u anyway, so u could just kill a few zombies and take the call, and in xbox, melee weps are better against zombies, dont waste bullets, also how would wii fighting be harder, constant supply of bullets and buying guns, plus the much easyer and faster aiming of wii would make it proberly only harder if ur an idiot who runs into a crowd then pistol shoots.
ok i may need one more comment on my list of critising that the problems of xbox are ur fault, for one thing, u never mentioned how bad graphics were out of gameplay, and removing time kills the point of the game, and what made it so original, also with the finding ammo on zombies, that would make the game just another wii zombie game, most of the things u say are fixed in wii with diffucuty are stuipid, on wii, unless u got ADHD, its much much easyer to aim so u can easly head kill guys.
another thing, when did the xbox 360 version ever go to fast, you must read like 1 word a second if you cant keep up, pretty much every time, the words went for about 4 times the time it takes to read them if u read at normal speed, if u speed read, you should finish in about 3-4 seconds on all transcievers, also for any person who is able to survive for any length of time in DR1, you need to be able to read at normal speed, and play at the same time, and also, u take for ever to aim on wii,
with the writing being too small, you said if u had a standard defination tv, you do realise, Xbox is designed for at least HD tvs, which cost around 700 dollars for a 42"er in australian currency at the time of writing this comment, if you only have digital, or even analog, the xbox will be inevitably hard to read, there for, when i see my xbox 360 on my 42"er, the words are easy to read and i had no trouble with them, so if you want to be able to read, get hd, you shouldent play on crap tvs

I used to have the 360 version...I'm playing the Wii one right now...I have fun either way...theres more zombies in the 360 for sure and its a little bit more wild and violent.. but in either one you get a good dose of gore, dismemberment, and violence..I just like the Wii in general. It catches alot of flack but its still alot of fun...I kinda miss my 360 since it crapped out but next time I think I'm just gonna give the PS3 a go...
I really don't see why CTYD (the wii one) was so widely panned... There's still a decent number of zombies on screen. The graphics aren't that much worse. And it's like the spiritual successor to Resident Evil (the old ones with zombies), but with RE4-esque gameplay.

I got the wii version first. Now I want the 360 version. Why? Cause there's much more variety. In chop till you drop, the overtime ending A is the only one available, not EVERYTHING you see is a weapon, you can run and gun, more moves *like the facecrusher* you can use the camera, and more cutscenes.
I Love dead rising, its the whole reason why i got a 360, but the wii looks pretty bad ass also, on the first dead rising i was hoping that you can keep your weapons and have ammo, but i was sad when you lost your weapon . im thinking about getting it for the wii but keeping my 360 one. and graphics are not too bad, i did not tell a difference, but it does not matter.

The cutscenes are pre-rendered on the Wii. It's just footage from the Xbox done as a video file. That's a bad comparison.

I love the wii version cause you can take your time finishing a mission or leveling up with no time. Trust me, I lvd up to 39. Also, you can buy weapons and buy as many as you like. Also, you dont run out of it. However, you use ammo, but you can always kill zombies to get ammo. So pretty much you have unlimited ammo. And you forgot the health bar. You get a different health bar and can be raised every time you level up. But you can mix iron with a blue shake I think. And you get a burst of hp.

with xbox 360 u can handle faster i think if u r on the part where there are 5 zombies at "1 square metres" u will fail big on wii

another thing, when u got transciever calls in xbox, did u ever try, "running away and hanging up" as if u hang up he continue to call u anyway, so u could just kill a few zombies and take the call, and in xbox, melee weps are better against zombies, dont waste bullets, also how would wii fighting be harder, constant supply of bullets and buying guns, plus the much easyer and faster aiming of wii would make it proberly only harder if ur an idiot who runs into a crowd then pistol shoots.

ok i may need one more comment on my list of critising that the problems of xbox are ur fault, for one thing, u never mentioned how bad graphics were out of gameplay, and removing time kills the point of the game, and what made it so original, also with the finding ammo on zombies, that would make the game just another wii zombie game, most of the things u say are fixed in wii with diffucuty are stuipid, on wii, unless u got ADHD, its much much easyer to aim so u can easly head kill guys.

another thing, when did the xbox 360 version ever go to fast, you must read like 1 word a second if you cant keep up, pretty much every time, the words went for about 4 times the time it takes to read them if u read at normal speed, if u speed read, you should finish in about 3-4 seconds on all transcievers, also for any person who is able to survive for any length of time in DR1, you need to be able to read at normal speed, and play at the same time, and also, u take for ever to aim on wii,

with the writing being too small, you said if u had a standard defination tv, you do realise, Xbox is designed for at least HD tvs, which cost around 700 dollars for a 42"er in australian currency at the time of writing this comment, if you only have digital, or even analog, the xbox will be inevitably hard to read, there for, when i see my xbox 360 on my 42"er, the words are easy to read and i had no trouble with them, so if you want to be able to read, get hd, you shouldent play on crap tvs

the three main video game companies should get together to form one big one like the best with graphics does the graphics the best with game play does the game play and the bes with story making does that . it would be Nintendo play station and Xbox. it would be epic.

I used to have the 360 version...I'm playing the Wii one right now...I have fun either way...theres more zombies in the 360 for sure and its a little bit more wild and violent.. but in either one you get a good dose of gore, dismemberment, and violence..I just like the Wii in general. It catches alot of flack but its still alot of fun...I kinda miss my 360 since it crapped out but next time I think I'm just gonna give the PS3 a go...

I really don't see why CTYD (the wii one) was so widely panned... There's still a decent number of zombies on screen. The graphics aren't that much worse. And it's like the spiritual successor to Resident Evil (the old ones with zombies), but with RE4-esque gameplay.
Thanks for the video, it made up mind. Definitely my next game purchase.

I got the wii version first. Now I want the 360 version. Why? Cause there's much more variety. In chop till you drop, the overtime ending A is the only one available, not EVERYTHING you see is a weapon, you can run and gun, more moves *like the facecrusher* you can use the camera, and more cutscenes.

I Love dead rising, its the whole reason why i got a 360, but the wii looks pretty bad ass also, on the first dead rising i was hoping that you can keep your weapons and have ammo, but i was sad when you lost your weapon . im thinking about getting it for the wii but keeping my 360 one. and graphics are not too bad, i did not tell a difference, but it does not matter.
If the gameplay is good, then the graphics dont matter, people should understand that. or at lest try too,
