I enjoy your clips but I find them hard ti follow as lessons because the phrases are played so quickly. I would love it if they were broken into individual phrases. Will you ever do Siko Horepse Koukli Mou?
Rialas has truly been an inspiration, to me as I have been just starting with no musical background just a love for my Greek music and heritage thanks a whole lot Kostas
P.S. Have you created DVD'S on learning the Bouzouki as you are the best Teacher I have encountered to date please let me know Thanks Again Zeke
Because Rialas is in London and all the comments are in ta Ellinika - lol.
When I lived in London I knew lots of immigrants who spake very little English and I recall they would be highly offended if I spoke to them in bad Spanish/Greek etc.
The other thing about this lessons is that there is no mention of how to tune the Greek Bouzouki.....

i remember back in the days when you played with George massos. I was only a kid but your bouzouki got me hooked on greek music. i've always loved the bouzouki but due to the size of my fingers (we are talking pork sausages), i've been told its a big no no.My hearts set on it and i would love to try. Thanks for the inspiration.. now wheres the copy of kalohoritisa
You remember kalohoritisa. George Massos got up and sang last night. Had not seen him in ages. Practice is important so don't let the pork sausages put you off.
this lesson helped me so much cos i had a tab that wasnt that accurate but now after watching this video its help me play it properly thanks for the video! alex
Hi. I always try to show a few hammers and tips slowed down at the end of each lesson that I make. Some hammers are a little hadder to understand, but they will eventually begin to make sense. More lessons after the summer holidays as I need a short break. Keep tuned in. Thanks. Costa.

File mou, eise protos! I started playing bouzouki less than a year ago, and i've learnt a few songs only by ear, including this one. It's practically perfect actually because of your video. Thanks alot megale!
Do you mean the score of the melody or chords?. Even though I read music, I have learnt these songs over the years by ear. I think this is the best way to do so to get the feel. There should be available music for this pieces if you need the help. I'm afraid I don't have it. Thanks
I have been playing for many years and have only just discovered what tabs are. I don't like the look of them. Better to take some time out and learn to read real music. But this is only my opinion. Thanks. Costa.
Hi Ousak. Thanks for comment. I suppose you could say this piece is for intermediate ability. In future I shall also try front views as suggested by dimitri (nais768). The idea is not necessarily to learn the song if it is too difficult, but with the bits slowed down at the end, someone can learn a repertoire of licks aswell, as a lot of songs are interconnected and a phrase from one song can benefit another song. I shall try and knock out a piece every few weeks. Costa.
Thanks for that. It shows me where I need work! I like the view as it shows you where to place the fingers from the players perspective, however maybe tilting the bouzouki a little towards the camera (or the camera towards the bouzouki) would allow us to see which frets you are playing at what time rather than just the finger movements (hammers, etc.) but PLEASE keep posting lessons. it helps all of us beginners allot to see the tricks of the trade like the hammering slowed down (1:41)
