I just noticed this video. I am sorry for not visiting your channel for the past weeks, I have been very busy. But as I can tell from this video you have been very busy too! This project means a lot to me, I have discovered the principle of Ox herding image in Chinese Chaan Buddhism, 8 months ago, when I started taking my interest in the way of Chaan, this video is especially important and very inspirational to me and all Buddhists,it represents great reflection of Buddhist philosophy! Well done!
I look forward to the rest. It's amazing how in the beginning it is so hard to see what the painting might end up looking like, yet with this unknown you still push forward - driven by the belief in your own abilities that a beautiful painting will emerge.
I myself sometimes a feeling of lost hope when I make a 'mistake', and sometimes abandon a painting or finish the rest with a sense of diminished inspiration.
@gregoreau Thanks for your comments and sharing of your own experience. What you said is true. I got a fortune cookie the other day that says "How can we have beautiful result without making beautiful mistakes? How can we paint a "free-style" painting if we don't allow us to make any mistake?

I watch all the videos you make an love them. This particular one I love the seemingly spontaneous addition of the dog. How perfect. :)

@mrlundgren1 Thanks for your comment. The dog footprints was certainly not planned. Yes, it is from synchronous gathering that arise spontaneity.
