That referee is a moron. It was clear that Montiel was still half-unconscious when he somehow made it on his feet. The only thing that showed was Montiel trained very hard and was very fit to get up from that knock down. He didn't even seem to know where he was and he got hit a couple of times more unnecessarily. He could've sustained serious brain damage. See how his arms and legs were moving while he was down? That was frightening. The fight should have been stopped right there and then.

Actually Donaire was definitely trying to block the right and counter with his left but he took the right because Montiel threw a quick feint before he threw his right.

@zaneyah26 i dont know much about boxing, but i can see there's a big diff between the fighting style of pacman and donaire. pacman works his opponent with his lightning fast strikes, as for donaire, he looks more into 1 punch k.o.... i'd go for pacman all the way!
