  • amazing video bro and loved the graphics and keep it up

  • I like the 747 taking off. Engine sound Awesome! Thumbs up for that!

  • good one'

  • Spotting at Sydney airport go to geminijets1100

  • Loved this video. Great to have the voice of the control tower. That engine noise is the best sound in the world!

  • Why is qantas still using 743?

  • @IDONTKNOWWHYTOO It's not... this video was filmed in March 2008 when they were still in operation.

  • @AbraxasVideo ohh XD didnt know that thx XD

  • brighton beach ?

  • @Michaelnagui Nope, the beach doesn't actually have a name but it's right next to the old control tower at Kyeemagh.

  • My mate and i live in hurstville right under the flight path its amazing seeing the 747, A380 and other planes that land

  • Nice airport to live near.

  • Verga!! se nota que ese aeropuerto tiene bastante trafico...

  • watching an A380 take to the skies gives me the chills

  • Those European jets make horrible jet noise.

Long way to go before they catch up with US jets.

  • @lakeeriejew they use US engines..

  • @lakeeriejew the engines are made separately, they can choose to buy european or US made engine regardless its boeing or airbus.

  • @lakeeriejew yes your right about the noise, airbus makes terrible noise, im european by the way but here in holland we say, aint it a boing...we are not going

  • @lekkerereet considering Boeing statistically has more mechanical failures per plance produced... enjoy. You little Boeing fanboy. Also: terrible noise? What a load of bullshit...

  • Ha Boeing Kicks Ass

  • @124simran Car #69 had asked to do some work on the side of the runway.

  • a320 aint heavy

  • Why doesn't the Qantas 747 have winglets????

  • @2306mljj It's a 747-300... only 747-400s have winglets

  • how many hours from canada to sidney?

  • gotta love the air canada T7-200 LR

  • Nice selection of heavies.

  • which filming point is this?

  • @efastMixer The Fence, near the Beach (Old Control Tower)

  • nice shot dude!!

  • Qantas!!!

  • First and third planes were A330s. Fourth and Fifth planes were B777s.

  • nice video of sydney's international visitors! keep up the good work . hope to see once in HD..

  • why are the smoothest landings always in a airbus a330? like i always see perfect landings with them. type in youtube -> smoothest landing. the 1st video... :O

  • @4500intelx Well, then many are very wrong.

  • many say a380 consumes 3liters of fuel in 100km

  • hmmmmm imagine a330 w/ GE 90 looks like 777

  • The A380 takes-off on a far shorter runway than the 747. When the 747 is at the closest distance from the camera (1:26), it's still on the runway, while when the A380 gets there, it's already up in the air (5:07).

  • Nice one dude!

  • a320 isnt a heavy... just saying

  • a380 is the daddy

  • Ps I mean either Gatwick or Heathrow, who does the best deal eg. Who would we be able to get rather cheaply.

  • If this is Sydney I am hoping to get out there in about 8 and a half months time with my father, as next year we both celebrate our 70th and 30th birthdays within a month of each other, the best thing of it all is we do not need a hotel, as he has family out in the blue mountains region of Sydney, we live around gatwick, does anyone know who would be the best to fly with, I have heard good reviews about Emirates, my dad does not know yet.

  • @jamesfish18 Anyone but Qantas :)

  • @jamesfish18 Emirates is very very good but you want cheap and good which is hard to get. You really just need to do a search on a flight site that compares deals to get the best deal. I use bestflights com au. Blue mountains isn't bad but its a good way out of the city if you want to see other things. Virgin Australia is a big domestic airline in australia, maybe you could do a deal with Virgin atlantic/ Virgin Australia to get here?

  • 747 Rulezzzzz

  • @Gusbutcher nah, go the 777s

  • NICE

  • my favorite plane will always be 777 great video

  • The Qantas 747 takeoff, wow! I love how all four engines seem to have a little growl in the way they sound, makes it look more aggressive and powerful :)

  • Great stuff. Thanks for sharing!

  • THE FIRST LANDING (A330) WAS PERFECT

  • beautiful... unique.... exquicite... all my life is in the air!!

  • To curseknight5 I Don't really know?

  • anyone know why some brake flaps goes up after the others like some type of delay? Is it because it is still frozen or was it purposely done that way.

  • front of a380 = very ugly

  • @niteterror2k7 still not as gay as twilight.

  • i love aeroplanes since i was a kid

  • Oh Okay!

    Thx!

  • have you ever noticed that most videos that show 747 take-offs, The plane Rotates when it passes the cameraman

  • a380 took less runway to take off then the 747

  • A330 not A320, A320 isnt a heavy bro xD

  • QANTAS :)

  • Turkish ailines is better then

  • 747,still the ugliest, nosiest airliner in the world.

  • Pause at 4:58 for the best picture.

  • a388? FAILED

  • wat did u say at 2:40 i think its funny when...?

  • @10newsrox It was my brother talking in my ear observing the plane movements. I can't remember exactly what he was saying though, it was over 3 years ago!

  • where was the a320 in that video?

  • @littlea997 FlightLevel350 have incorrectly labelled the video. There is no A320 in the footage.

  • Comment removed

  • Hey you said landing not takeoff

  • 747, still the sexiest airliner.

  • @thedeitsch

    who are Wright Brother???

    Thank´s Santos Dumont

  • @thedeitsch Nahh Mate, Its The 757, THAT SEXY BITCH

  • @joaofbi4321 Yeah the 757 is nice too. I had a choice between flying on a 737 or a 757 two years ago but I picked the 757 even though it was $4 more and 1/2 hour later.

  • a380 is 'super' not 'heavy'

  • don't they land without ils

  • I could watch planes take off and land all day :) Bigger the better!

  • Man for being so big the A380 is VERY quite!!!! The 747 is much louder then it!!!! Kinda weird!!!! A plane that big should make A LOT more noise then it does!!!! Look at Concorde

  • @dcccapfan Yes but the Boeing 747-400 was built before the A380 back in 1988 so you can't really compare the noise of a modern aircraft with an old one and Boeing released the 747-8 which is modern and quiet.

  • Are you jeremy's brother?

  • H O T W I R E Hotwiree your mommm

  • i don't think an a320 is a 'heavy'

    .

    nice videos :)

  • nice video!

  • i love how you could get the information from tower control ;P

  • @painatal360 No it just proves it's newer and that engines have developed in the last 20 years since the latest revision of the 747. The 747-800 will have similar performance to the A380 with it's revised RR turbofans.

  • this video is super awesome. So much china?

  • rb211's on that 747 @ 1:26?

  • there are no wingtip for qantas 747

  • @along609 .....its a 747-300 type......i think qantas retired those ones...Ta

  • the first aircraft is A330

  • wtf, first plane is not 777, its A330, u can tell by winglets and back wheels ?

  • @0oCrimsono0 lol its not in order -.-

  • @hamadkhalisadam94 lol, i watched the first clip and was like " wtf!" so yeah, it was 5am and i wasnt really ... alert XD

  • a380 killed my ears, inside its like not noisy at all

  • Imagine the Wright Brothers seeing this :P

  • @DragonIncorporated Orville Wright actually lived long enough to see the early jet planes and airliners, and i'd assume he was impressed :D

  • @1CaptainAustralia1 lol nice

  • @DragonIncorporated or otto lilienthal. :)

  • Dang the first landing, the pilot was trying WAY to hard to land it good lol

  • Great stuff. Thank you for sharing.

  • Wonderful landings and takeoffs.

  • A very good video, thanks for sharing.

  • süper hayran kaldım çok iyi çekilmiş video

  • the difference between the a330's engines and the T7's is soooo much

  • 747 and T7 are my favorites ...

  • very good video thank you

  • nice :) just wonder why A380 take off point was way before 747? A380 is bigger so it should have more runway...

  • @kaeleon1111 I understand that the A380 has a high lift wing, so A380 will take off (and land) at about the same speed as the much smaller A320 aircraft of about 130knts.

  • @kaeleon1111 This was an 'unusual' rotation for the A380. I think something to do with the works being carried out on the runway's edge (the ATC alerts them to that before giving takeoff clearance). Most A380 takeoff's use much more runway.

  • I've got to be honest with you, flying sucks. I couldn't do this for a job.

  • @bigneg95 Incorrect. appending "Heavy" to an aircraft is not a weight classification as you say, it is a measure of wake turbulance the aircraft produces due to its weight (over 140,000kg)

  • @markovicmitchell Heavy is indeed a weight classification used primarily to determine wake turbulence separation minima.

    0-41,000 lbs MTOW = Small

    41,000-255,000 lbs MTOW = Large

255,000 lbs GTOW and up = Heavy (whether or not it's actually operating at that weight)

The only exception to this is the 757 as its wings generate significant wingtip vortices.

Source: FAA Order JO 7110.65 aka the ATC Bible

ICAO defines heavies as anything capable of GTOW greater than 300,000 pounds, I believe.

  • good video

  • *****

  • Um, the second plane is taking off, not landing.

Change the title to "Sydney Airport Traffic".

  • omfg, I WANNA BE A PILOT

  • @x2dude Excellent idea!

  • the a330 always makes a smooth landing...

  • @10Kingboy10 because of the same reason as Airbuses are called Nintendo jets, they are 90% computers or something. The difference btw an Airbus and Boeing is the same as the difference btw a Ferrari and a Toyota

  • @SRQKEF what and dreamliner has no computer aided flight? at least airbus can build an electronic distribution panel without starting a fire. maybe the experience in building planes this way for 15 years is what got QF32 back to singapore when a turbine failure tore through 6 or so major systems (and about 50k hours on the flight deck :) ). cables and pushrods are gone sorry!!

  • great landing air china

  • That's me in the 2nd jet=] luv my 747

  • I'd like to see any of you guys go out there and stop it with your bare hands, see how heavy it is then.

  • I don't think the planes appreciate you calling them "heavies"

  • just look at the boeing 747, which arose later than the A380,and with less speed. That is because the turbines of the A380, are much more powerful than the 747.

This is further proof that the A380 is much better!!

  • @Painatal360 you dont really know that. How can you tell, you dont know the weight of both aircraft, for all we know the A380 could have been half full.

  • @Painatal360 What do you mean 'arose later'? The 747 was built waaaayyy before the A380. I love both aircraft, but no offense, Airbus was a "tad bit" late when it comes to building a plane like the A380, if you catch my drift. But who cares, time will tell whether the 747 will outdo the A380 or not...

  • what is the best airline in the world?

  • I think its KLM royal dutch airlines

  • was that china international airline in begining?

  • @local1114 It's Air China in English, but their Chinese name literally translates to China International Airline.

  • QF75 going to perth?

  • really nice vid.......

  • imagne the wake turbulence that A380 produces not to mention the drag and lift

  • how do u get the cockpit voice recording?

  • @justin14842 by using a VHF or whatever radio tuned into the ATC.

  • @Zlin0035 ohh thanks

  • A380 ftw.

  • Ehh, why do you say its A-388? ;p And whats a Boeing 743?

  • @Magicinsane An A380 is another name for the A380-800 and 743 is another name for 747-300

  • Interesting, The Qantas 747 departing is a -300. Thought they stopped flying these.

  • @istvanklein They did, the last one left in January 2009. This video was filmed in March 2008.

  • wow, that 747 is either a -200 or -300, cant be -400 cuz it has wingtips...

  • @asharwin930 the 747-400D has no winglets the D is for domestic

  • @asharwin930 747-400D's have no winglets

  • @asharwin930 It's a -300. One of the last few Qantas had at the time in 2008.

  • @MyFallenIdolMusic Heavy is actually a weight classification, a B747 is not necessarily heavy (although the majority of the time it is). It is not a assigned to any particular model of plane. Think about it, what is the point in stating "747 heavy" if all 747's are automatically heavy. ;)

  • @bigneg95 Huh? Not so - heavy is short for physically big, with lots of trailing wake turbulence. It's for other pilots in the pattern as a heads up for wake turbulence. Has nothing to do with weight, a 747 is always heavy because it always has a huge wing. The 757 is usually referred to as heavy because although it is not a large airplane by modern standards, it still generates a lot of wake turbulence due to its wing design.

  • @bigneg95 Actually it really has more to do with wake generation. A 757 is often referred to as "heavy" because of the separation required between it and another aircraft behind.

  • @KimmurielBaenre That was changed. It's now classified ain the Large class, but requires a wake turbulence instruction.

  • @bigneg95 nearly always there are airline numbers not aircraft model names stated in the callsign for example Qantas 32 heaavy not Airbus 380 heavy

  • @bigneg95 Actually the term "heavy" is a designation given to large aircraft due to their wake turbulence. It has nothing to do with weight.

  • @underPSI It does a little actually, since wake turbulence categories are assigned according to max certified take off weight of an airplane. The heavier the plane, the more significant the wake turbulence.

  • @bigneg95 callsigns generally dont refer to the aircraft type, just the flight number (for scheduled airlines), so it wouldn't be "747 heavy" it would be "Air Canada 999 Heavy" for example...I believe any flight or aircraft weighing 250,000+ lbs would be classified as Heavy

  • @bigneg95 lol, you're stupid.

  • @bigneg95 A 'Heavy' is an aircraft capable of takeoff of more than 255,000 lbs, So yes it does apply to certain aircraft.

  • Comment removed

  • @bigneg95 how much weight does it to be to be heavy?

  • It's amazing to see how sth so big and at first sight low aerodynamic as A380 can get up in the air.

  • @bigneg95

indeed any plane heavier than 300.000 lbs.

Even if the plane takes of with over 300.000 and has a remaining weight of 200.000 at landing it's still called heavy.

a380 are called 'super' not heavy

  • @bigneg95 Since the weight classification designation is based on MTOW, all 747's would b classified as "Heavy" since it's above 300000lbs (Used to be 255000+lbs) Aircraft in the Heavy class would include the 747, 767, 777, A310, A330, A340, DC-10 and MD-11. The A380 I believe used to be "Super" but that was only temporary. I think it is classified now as a Heavy but with a Wake turbulence instruction.

  • @tf51d I think IL 96 and L-1011 tristar is also heavy. Basicaly most(or all) long range aircrafts are considered heavy. Not sure if 707 would be heavy as well.

  • @AndrewSephiroth Definitely any aircraft that has a MTOW over 300000 lbs would be considered a Heavy.

  • @tf51d So basicaly all long range aircrafts and antonov 225 and 124. And the whale ppl insist to call A380 but for me its a whale

  • a B747 without wingtips looks very akward :P

  • Qantas uses those beasts man....Those 380's just look so heavy.....I am wondering how much force they have to generate just to take off......!

  • that is extrememly late for qantas to still be flying the classics. They retired them last yera, how was that one wvn flying?

  • i can't find any A320..

  • @ejatmny08 There isn't one in the video - FlightLevel350 incorrectly labelled the title with A320, I think they meant A330 (which is featured in the video).

    Dan

  • @MrTillster I bet you are.

  • How did you get to this position? (flightlevel350)

  • In Soviet Russia, HEAVIES LAND YOU AT SYDNEY AIRPORT!
