@skybieber81 when you make the 4 the throng that is used as the long side of the 4 like an "l" . Hold that string tight and pull the other ont loosely, then tighten it up when it's close to the top
Wow I thought this was going to be easy but it's such a pain I feel like I need at least 4 more hands. I give up. Really helpful video though, just obviously not for me.
this is the first time ive even made bracelets like this and the first bracelet i made was terrible but the secound was much better thank you for the video really helped
I tried doing this yesterday and it totally didn't work. Your video helped me see what I was doing wrong. I didn't use the outside string the whole time so it came out like a huge knot, but it was still cute :) Thanks for this video! So now I'm gonna try again today :)
Great video. Only suggestion I would have is that you can also take a piece of recycled card board put on cut on the top and two + the number of strings you have on your design on the bottom of the card board. This becomes a great anchor for making any bracelet. The top loop is just slid in the top cut of the board and the loose strings goes one in each of the bottom cuts of the board. Not only does it make it easier to handle but also allows you to save your work for later!
I love it! just tried it today, but mine didn't turn out that great. it's a little 'loose'. I don't know why because I made sure I pulled on each string when I made a 'knot'. I'm not sure how to explain how mine looks, if I touch my bracelet it's pretty sturdy but you can look trough the bracelet through tiny loops between the knots. Can you tell me when I did wrong please? thank you for the video!
Hi, be sure you are pulling the knots tight enough as that is usually the problem. You probably did pull on each knot, but perhaps you didn't get all the way next to the previous knot. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it perfect, so don't give up :o)
I used 6 strings initially. 2 strings of each color: 2 white, 2 light blue, and 2 cobalt blue. Then you must fold the strings in half in order to begin the bracelet, so you then have 12 piece of string that you are using to make the bracelet. It ends up being 6 strings on each side.
Oh wow you just reminded me of my summer camp time from like 20 years ago...our supervisor teached us to make those bracelets...with exact that pattern :)
i try to make these all the time... i can make it right from left to right but not right to left...i have no idea why but i just can never do it. but im a master at the single slant.
Mine turned out to be crappy D:
