Hey gr8 vid made me laugh. I guess drivers are the same all over the world. A german friend n I had a similar chat 1 time. She came home 1 day v.frustrated with people n driving n cudn't understand why people didn't use the zipper effect n proceeded to explain the whole process so I guess they must have that particular proceedure practised to a tee in Germany.

i think its just a misunderstanding through stereotyping people who have cars that have custom body kits, big spoilers, etc. i think people who try to act cool, by accelerating really fast for no apparent reason or blowing out their big mufflers to create noticably loud noises, would be the losers. on the other hand, there are some people who just like to have a good looking car since they have the money to purchase these sorts of things.

indiana drivers are the worst in the world. they're slow, discourteous, and dont know how to drive on the highway. they do not let you merge ahead of them if you are going faster than them! I'm saying this as a chicago native who goes to school at indiana. sure i dont always use my blinker, but i use it when i affect others drivers on the road and they must be notified of my plans to change lanes or turn.

Thats right, wave to the people driving. This either makes them speed up, or aknowledge that we aren't going to go kill people and they wave back. Thus, we have a solutiion. But please, don't drive slowly and look at people walking, it makes the uncomfortable!

Yes I do have an IPASS but you still have the parts that you cant just drive though, you still have to stop. And if by chance you get stuck w/o the IPASS the toll is twice as much. So you see people all the time trying find more money.

Well I've never been to LA but being from London England I can relate bigtime! Rush hour is basically 24/7 throughout the day. It's so funny how it works though. it's like one extreme to the other. Your either sitting in traffic or going with the flow of driving at one hundred miles an hour. No happy medium. Road rage is rife there! I can imagine it's the same in LA. Nothing like starting the day by shouting a few insults and throwing a few fingers around. Ahhhh I miss it :) :)
