Reminds me of the days I played FFXI.

Loved my blue mage and this trilogy just reminded me why, I really enjoyed the story behind them all and what dangers there are to becoming one.

Blue mages actually get blue magics from those NPCs?

Do you really take damage when they use them on you?

it's part of the cutscenes. They "test" your ability to hold blue magics. it just made for a good narrative in the video.

Would be fun if they'd really hurt you and

you'd need enough HP to take the attacks

heh I'm still using whm as my main sub, but with Salvage and ISNM's,and assaults, weekly i'll start using nin for those only.
