kennel name was. Bizzy is 8 and Glenlair is his breeder. Hes a fabaulous boy and of course I started Clicker Training him the day I brought him home! I have 3 videos up if you are interested you can see him as a puppy and then as an older guy. It's the shape of the face and head that caught my eye.

I am happy to know that there is another border terrier that does the full speed running in circles around the house and yard for no reason. My six month old Border does it and I just though he was crazy. Well he'll be happy to know he is normal, at least for a BT.

ssydney533, they can bark a lot, one of mine is very noisy and one is not. People who leave their dogs alone all day tend to be the ones with 'problem' dogs. No dog should be left alone for more than 3 - 4 hours, it's very unkind and would be cruel to leave a puppy. Only consider it if someone can stay with the dog for 3 - 4 hours, and someone else can do it if they can't, and that will work for the next 15 years.

This brings back happy memories of my childhood pal Bryn. He had the same face and habits as your Border terrier. Although he was a lot less obedient. He'd even run in a figure of 8 when excited - just like yours does.

The breed of dog doesn't shed at all (maybe a little though). They live til around a good 15 years if you take good care of them. they are great for kids cause they love to play and very energetic. they are very good dogs for people who have alergis.they have double coats of fur for protection. in other words they r good hunting dogs if u want them 2 hunt but u dont have 2. there beerds dont get too

But u might have to cut there hair around there eyes so they can see. u dont have to bathe them every week just couple times a month maybe. what i do with my border terrier is every summer we shave his whole body except his head and tail so he's cool. don't shave there head trust me it wont look good we did that once just to see what it'll look like and it wasn't pretty. well that's i know cause im only 12 lol. look them up on the internet.
Hi, I love Sara! I lost one BT 1.5 years ago & put down my 11 yr old BT Hunter 2 weeks ago. I have been devastated with grief.. I did decide I had to have another BT so I've contacted my breeder and will pick up a 10 week old female in June. I want you to know that watching your video is the first thing that has made me laugh since losing Hunter. Watching Sara run around all excited is just how my BT's did it.. I love the "Bang" trick. I think border terriers learn really fast I tought my 1yrold border terrier to sit lie down roll over in less than a day, he knows lie down, roll over, dead, beg (sit pretty :L) say please, high 5 :D there so loveable to I love my Jordie :) haha! made me laugh when she was goin mental in the room haha!
wow sara is so well trained,i would think it doesnt happen over night we have a 12wk old BT ,dillon is starting to learn to sit &give paw he loves water ..how long did it take to train sara ? do you have any advice ..check out dillon on my video,s LTYPE IN " POOKSMELL"cheers chris
@pooksmell Hi, Dillon is very handsome! Have fun with him. I would recommend clicker training if you're not already using it. Its lots of fun and I think the dog enjoys it. I like "capturing" as a form of training. Sara will offer something fun and I click and encourage her to do it. Soon it becomes a trick. It could take 10 mins or 3 days. But be patience, be creative and have fun!!
Wow. You did a great job on this movie. Thanks for all the smiles. We have a Border Terrier named Lulu and she's 16 months old. I can hardly believe how similar she is to Sara in looks and habits (such as the upside down sleeping).
@Fujiichannel Thanks! She was 17 months old in this video. I believe she is considered a grizzle. You can see a combination of dark grey, tan and wheaten on her top coat. Hope you post some videos when you get yours.
