  • Don't forget to apologize for the ass and cock shots in the opening scenes.

  • I loved the movie! lol and I though forever was good aswell- jesus stupid nerds!

  • Apology accepted, Joel....NOW M.NIGHT APOLOGIZE FOR LAST AIRBENDER!!

  • i liked batman and robin thank you for making it sound stupid, even though i think its tight

  • hey bane, break schumacher

  • you have to be pretty open minded to be able to accept that your movie sucks. gotta give him that.

  • Joel Schumacher should apolgize for both batman movies he directed they were terrible.

  • Comment removed

  • In my opinion, it's those dumbass parental groups who should be apologizing. They're pretty much the reason why Batman Forever and Batman and Robin were made the way they were.

  • joel schumacher is to batman what michael bay is to transformers

  • @Yabuturtle

And don't forget about that director for those "Resident Evil" movies.

    He should apologize too.

  • I really liked batman forever, too bad batman and robin was a comedy :)

  • RAPE MY CHILDHOOD WILL YOU?!?!?

  • Batman Forever was shit too, who the hell loved that and got disappointed by Batman and Robin?

  • @GMMReviews Good point.

  • @Gilch30 Sixth Sense was bad but you're right about Inveption "not being brilliant, it's being something more". If inception was a bad film, I dont think I would have jizzed my pants 20 mintues in just to be angry that I wasn't hard and ready to blow my wad at that incredible ending anymore

  • @seanboy97 Props to your fucking balls kid! Thats the smartest thing I've heard on youtube all day!

  • Comment removed

  • Well you fucked failed you dipshit asshole!

Three words to rub salt in the damn wound while I'm at it:

    BAT CREDIT CARD!

    JEBUS!

  • guys, it takes so much balls to apologized for your own work, and you gotta admire this guy for that. same goes for stallone and rocky V

  • Apology accepted Joel, that's not to say the same for George Lucas and those damn changes on the blu-ray......

  • @anakinfan8 seen confused matthew? X)

  • @fogell359

    Yes.

  • @anakinfan8 right on dude, gotta love that guy X)

  • @MythicalGryphon1 I wasn't talking about Batman & Robin, I was talking about that Nic Cage crap he made recently, and other shit too.

  • I'm still waiting for an apology for DC Cab!

  • You should appoligize for taking a dump on this franchise and ultimatly not following the comic and cutting corners to make a campy , over the top piece of GARBAGE.

  • Now apologise for killing Val Kilmer's career.

  • Someone should delete batman and robin from history...

  • LOL

  • I forgive you because thanks to you we got Nolan's Batman Begins, The Dark Knight an the soon to be The Dark Knight Rises... So all is forgiven.

  • @XxComablackxX1937 true statement my friend!!.. And although you can never replace Tim Burton/Keaton's Batman I am still looking forward to Dark Knight Rises. Any Batman film is better than no Batman film. I'm also sick of people arguing about DC vs Marvel. I appreciate both

  • D.C are better than Marvel at comics, Marvel's comics are for emos and lovers of trauma and 24/7 bickering/miserable heroes. Marvel are better at movies and cartoons

  • He misunderstood what Batman was. I remember back in 1995 when he was already being criticised for BATMAN FOREVER, he said something like, "It's a comic book, it's supposed to be funny." It was clear that he didn't understand Batman if he thought comic book=funny.

  • @legosm1997

fine, ill delete my fucking comment if your gonna get all menstrual about it!

    jeez

  • Comment removed

  • He has nothing to apologize for. Those movies were entertaining and amusing and he definitely succeeded in my eyes.

  • when i was a kid i didn't see batman forever. went straignt from batman returns to batman and robin... Imagine my shock!

  • @zxTheWhoFanxz

Nolan made Batman dark and gritty (which is what it's supposed to be if we're talking about being true to the comics) but also made them semi-realistic. His interpretation of Batman is what would Batman be like if he existed in our world. On top of that, he properly developed ALL the characters including Alfred and Commissioner Gordon who didn't do squat or say much in the previous franchise.

  • A BAT CREDITCARD

  • @TheMrPappi

never leave the cave without it

  • I'll never forgive him though i appreciate that he knew sucked a crap load but he gave Batman a friggin bat-credit card and he gave George Clooney the lead as Batman terrible job

  • The movie batman and robin was not that bad but it partly suck because of George clooney as bat man no that was the worst part. bad guy were good Chris o Donnell act good but a better robin would be good too.

  • yes he fucked up ! but i really appreciate that he apologized publicly ! +1 to Joel from me !

he is not a bad director really ! he can make 100 different terrible movies, the lost boys will always be awesome !

  • Joel Schumacher you did great with your film the Lost Boys but you ruined the Batman franchise with Batman and Robin, Batman forever was okay as a movie.

  • I don't know if it's nostalgia.. but I still watch Forever on VHS, and I fuckin' love it everytime... in fact, might go watch it now. The music was awesome too

  • @mariotelaro I agree with that.

  • TOO LATE!!

  • I forgive you, just promise if you make another batman movie don't show me bat asses, PLEASE.

  • bro all those early batman movies are the perfect example of what is wrong with Hollywood . Hollywood ruined a lot of things for a very long time and you helped. Christopher Nolan should have your sorry ass exiled along with the idiots who made Dragonball Evolution, Conan the Destroyer, and Superman 3

  • He is the guy who directed Falling Down. He is clearly a good director! Why is he directing garbage nowadays?!

  • @dr1345 BAHAHAHA for using Falling Down as a reference of a good movie

  • @Gilch30 Falling Down is an excellent film. Superb, I should say. They don't make movies that good anymore.

  • @dr1345 ROFLMAO. Maybe to an idiot it is

  • @Gilch30 no, wrong. idiots usually don't like smart movies like that. case in point YOU )))

  • @dr1345 HAHAHAHA! Go look at the reviews for Falling Down and my point will be proved. You probably like all of that psuedo intellectual bullshit. Let me guess, you thought Inception was a brilliant movie too. LMAO Or how about The Sixth Sense. Leave the intelligent films to the rest of us. You go enjoy the movies that match up to your IQ level

  • @dr1345 He was forced to.

  • OBJECTION! Nobody loved Batman Forever!

  • he is such a raging fag. hence the rubber nipples, batman's ass close-up, and the overall gayness of his batman films. he's a total fanny bandit

  • A friend of mine put his films into perspective- he imitated the Batman TV series, Adm West era.

  • bat credit card, come on, you were laughing at all batman´s comic fans, that´s simple.

  • Forget the Joker, Joel Schumacher gets credit for being the greatest Batman villain of all time!

  • @6048545078 yup and Christopher Nolan is the hero

  • Thank you Joel for apologizing for that horrid monstrosity.

You're next Rob Reiner. Apologize for making North!

  • gay movie is gay

  • @CHEJONATHAN AVGN FTW!

  • Bat-Tastic !

  • appology accepted schumaker *See bat credit card* i take that back! >:(

  • Its OK Joel.We all know it was shit

  • There should be a follow up interview in which Darth Vader says, "Apology accepted, Joel Schumacher."

  • I have never been angry with him, I mean, he's just a director after all, he can't decide everything!! Warner Bros wanted a film for kids and teenagers, then he made it, but he could have been anyone else in his position!! I think the only mistake he made was to accept to direct the movie, after "Forever" which was not as bad as "B&R" he should have quit, leaving at least a decent memory of himself in the Batman franchise!! However, apologizes are accepted :)

  • If his tombstone reads "Sorry for Batman and Robin" then we're cool.

  • Apology Accepted Mr. Schumacher.

  • .... That movie has a concise well-rounded script that took comic-book material to new heights. It had undertones that dealt with politics, faith, escalation, symbol vs vigilante. A moral boundary combined with a very dense theme of sacrifice ALONG WITH MUCH MUCH MORE. There is a reason it is ranked as thr best movie of the past decade. Just because you're too stupid to appreciate a masterpiece doesnt Take anything away from the films credit. Go crawl back in your cave and read a book troll.

  • @l3awl3ag See this is exactly why retards shouldnt be allowed on youtube. The internet is there for you to comment but try and use your brain every now and then. That movie was not good just because of Ledger. Tht is just an excuse used by jealous or hating moron who try and justify their envy of a masterpiece. In fact Ledger was just ONE OF THE MANY great things about it. (continued in the next comment)....

  • This video is among my comments on Walt Disney's original plan for Epcot. The comment is about why Disney and WB are better than Star Wars!

This video is funny because it Pwns George Lucas to the max!

  • I dont know why, but i never saw the dark knight as a batman film, batman begins was a batman film, i think that nolan is straying too far from the source material, i think the current franchise might be too realistic

  • @sosa4693 Exactly, but the realism is what makes it so amazing.

  • @sosa4693

Gotta admit the Nolan movies were better than Schumacher's crap

  • @Johnlindsey289 Hahahahahahahaaha!! TOO FUNNY!! Didn't know he did this!!

  • anyone know his address?

  • @FastandFurious450 See that goes to show that a movie can onlg bd great when it finallt gets somd idiotic haters. He was counting on Wahne anger and his desire to avenge crime. If you recall, Wayne almost shot Chill in front of the courthouse. So he definitely had the potential to serve his cause. And bottomline who gives a shit what you say? You cant even think straight. BB/TDK are consider the BEST cb adaptation of all time globally. Something so genius is always going to have naysayers. FuckU

  • @FastandFurious450 And just as future refernce, if your going to try and bash as perfect a film as TDK, try to find a movie other than Fast & Furious to back up your statement next time.

  • @regulator619 That movie didn't really have any negatives but it was kinda lacking on positives too. Heath Ledger as the Joker is what made that movie. If he wasn't in it, it would have been an average movie.

The reason it's so hastily defended by people like yourself, is because you all have a hard on for Ledger's Joker. You don't even realize it. Combine that with the fact that he died, and the movie becomes the nerd bible. Nothing special, but defended and lauded by zealots.

  • @FastandFurious450 Actually you know what? You may be retarded but even retards need to be set straight. Rachel was bruce's moral conscience in the movie and very important to the Batman character. It detaiked his orgin perfectly and EVERY SINGLE DETAIL MADE SENSE. A NON SENSIBLE CHARACTER WAS FINALLY ABLE TO COONECT PSYCHOLOGICALLY WITH HIM. Every single one of your points is invalid but unfprtunately i need more than 500 characters toknock some sense into your shriveled up brain. No legit cons

  • @FastandFurious450 Nolan can't make good Batman movies? Are you fucking retarded? Ive yelled at idiots on youtube before but even I have the decency not to make fun of handicaps. Go and enjoy BF/B&R little boy.

  • I dont understand how this guy, who i actually like as a director, he has some good stuffs (A Time to Kill, Falling Down, Lost Boys.. and i totally LOVE Flatliners) could ´ve possibly done such a crappy Batman movie like B&R, i mean he is a great director he had all the tools to make a decent Batman movie on even Nolan´s league but he just chosed not to.

Anyways, at least Batman Forever was better than crappy Batman Returns from crappy Burton...

  • @Hackmoune Word of warning, comments like that will bring the burton fans after you. just saying

  • @superspy6 Burton whores can suck my dick anytime, they love to, lol

  • We guys should be THANKING Him! If he didn't make the horrible Batman and Robin.. we would have NEVER gotten the wonderful Nolan Dark Knight trilogy. Sometimes the bad things turn out right

  • @GamerGuyd7Aces wow than that gives me more of a reason to not like this movie

  • @FastandFurious450 So you HATE the Dark Knight??

  • @GamerGuyd7Aces lets just say i thought it sucked. bruce wayne and harvey dent were friends in the comics and the animated series. in this movie they meet at a restaurant? once again we get bale's death metal batman voice, boring filler of bruce wayne going to china, the joker looks cheap and emo, etc. yeah nolan's movies aren't that good. atleast be entertaining if youre gonna change the storyline not put in boring gay filler

  • @FastandFurious450 Well you're one of the few ppl who actually hate Nolan's Batman films. As for me, I never saw Batman as anything more than a corny douche with a gay duo with Robin until Batman Begins came along.. what do u think of that first movie? Dark Knight is my no.1 superhero movie, besides Batman's voice (they better fix that this time round and tone it down!).. the movie was awesome. So you like Schumacher's Batman films, or Tim Burton's?

  • @GamerGuyd7Aces there are a lot of things i hate in this world(justin beiber, rebecca black, nicki manaj, rap music, college, math class, annoying customers at my job etc.) i dont hate the dark knight i just hate how everybody thinks its a GREAT movie. its not that good and to answer your question i didn't like batman begins either. katie holmes acting like a girl scout whining about justice, bale again playing a douchebag batman, why would ra's al ghul train batman?

  • @FastandFurious450 its like he trains bruce wayne and teaches him so much just to try and take over the world like bruce wayne is gonna allow it. nolan can't make good batman movies. personally im more of a fan of paul dini, bruce timm and alan burnett. both burton and schumacher dont know batman's history enough but i did love batman 1989 and batman forever. batman returns and batman & robin can fuck off those movies sucked. but arkham city and the animated series? hell yeah

  • ARE YOU WATCHING MOVIEWORLDEXPRESS ... EVEN SCHUMACHER HATES BATMAN & ROBIN. ANYONE WHO LIKES BATMAN & ROBIN OR EVEN BATMAN FOREVER IS A DICK WEED, RETARD SHIT STAIN

  • @HorrorHarry100 Leave that fatass creepy child molester alone, i feel bad for him, his brain just cannot work without his ass...

  • You made 'Lost Boys' and 'Phone Booth', not to mention 'Flatliners'. I think we can overlook one bad movie.

  • i didnt find it that bad when i was a kid.....

  • It wouldn't have been as bad if it weren't for the zoom-ins on their asses suiting up. (look to the right)

  • It's cool joel, don't worry about it!

  • It wasn't really schumachers fault, it was Warner Brothers >:(

  • batman and robin is so bad it's good

  • he was put under heavy pressure from studios to make it a kids film, he wanted to do a darker prequel adaption. i feel kind of sorry for him

  • @Tebor2 where is this from anyway?

  • Wait why is he apologizing?

  • Batman forever was awful too, i dont know who saw that and got disappointed by batman and robin.

  • @Stjimmyrulesx there hasn't really been an actual good batman movie up untill batman begins...so he shouldn't feel that bad.

  • @Kilox1000

Actually Burton's Batman films, Mask of the Phantasm, Sub-Zero, Batman Beyond Return of the Joker and 1966 were all good Batman movies prior to Begins

  • @Johnlindsey289 actually burtons film's were pretty shitty. and I'm not counting animated films you dumbass, theres tons of good animated batman series/films. but as for real movies, they all sucked (well maybe burton's were average) untill batman begins.

  • @Stjimmyrulesx My ex-fiancee.. Of course, she was a fucking retard.

  • @Stjimmyrulesx

I dont know why but I LOOOOVE Batman comics but not his films?? am I the only person who feels like this????

  • Apology accepted

  • The only winners in 1997 was the toy industry. Everyone else ranging from the studio to Schumacher lost.

  • now apologize for batman forever. i saw it last night, i think for what it is, its worse than batman and robin

  • Still a douche move, guy.

  • damn right u should apologize!

  • I actually feel bad for him. He just wanted to have fun with it; not his fault that the script and casting was total shit.

  • @ShockEvolution yeah, he wanted to have his "gay" fun with it... Probably made that movie to have some sex with his butt-buddies after it was launched...

  • @ShockEvolution it was silliness. simple, dumb, silliness

  • Many people should learn from your apology.

    Apology accepted.

  • *cough bullshit *cough

  • ok....now apologise for batman forever!

  • @aidsbrigade Why? That movie's good.

  • @LOKBLUDOM3N no mate it sucked. joel was under the impression like richard lester before him that comic book movies were for babies and shouldnt be dark. so he made it campy and cartoonish and it sucked. riddler was portrayed wrong, two face was played like the joker, val kilmer was wooden and the plot was dumb. it was an insult to the comic book fans, but still not as bad as batman and robin

  • you know something? i hated B&R. i was beside myself

at how god aweful it was. however,

atleast Mr Schumacher was man enough to apologize for

that travesty . he is still a damn good movie

director.that's way more than can be said about that f*cktard

"Eli Roth",or that douche point 0 who directed Saw 1-6,and

the Final Destination movies!eventhough i hated B&R,i would

rather watch that 10x in 1 day than watch

20 minutes of any of those other worthless pieces of sh*t.

  • @batman69200

There will not be a venom Bane in this movie, the mask has another function.I don't think a venom induced Bane would quite work in Nolan's Batman universe. But Hardy is quite a big guy and I suggest you watch Bronson and Warrior to get an idea of how physical he can be.

  • That's not an apology.

  • @batman69200

Well in the first DKR trailer you see Bane climbing out of a well, also there is going to be flashbacks to a younger Ras Al Ghul (maybe training Bane etc)I think Nolan will elude to some sort of Bane back story at least (he deserves it) but of course it will fit in with Nolan's Batman vision so some things might be different. But I am sure Bane will be done justice in this film for being a proper badass. But a complete back story I do not think so.The prologue rocks!

  • @batman69200 Actually, Man Bat was in another failed project. It was called Batman: DarKnight. They still kept Scarcrow, though. In fact, there were many other projects before begins. Batman Year One and Batman vs. Superman. Still would've been a nice film.

  • @batman69200 Actually yes. He had Jeff Goldblum as Scarcrow, Madona as Harley, Jack Nicholson as Joker. Clooney and O'Donnel were reprising their roles. I wish it came true, because Harley gets so little respect.

  • he should apologize for being born

  • People dislike the man because he pished all over a legendary, iconic, beloved franchise.

He isn't apologising for that in this video.

  • Don't worry, Joel. I thought Batman and Robin was a fun movie. Besides, I loved your Bane design then the new one.

  • @SteveIriwinFan96

And you call yourself a Batman fan?

When was Bane ever a stumbling, mumbling, retarded sack of shit fuck mountain?

You must have forgotten Knightfall huh?

    And you loved it!...go figure.

  • @ComicBookGeezer Okay, in my defense. I like the DESIGN better, but the personality was really wrong. I'll agree with you on that. But I wish people would stop blaming Schumacher, considering Warner did it. They're the ones who made Batman for kids. Never would've happened if Burton had stayed. While B&R wasen't my favourite film, I'll take it over today's mediocre horror remakes. MY OPINION.

  • @SteveIriwinFan96

Well If Schumacher had integrity he could have said no.Bane is intelligence and brawn combined. So he was done no justice.Miller,Morrison,Moore changed Batman even before Burton's effort came out.I would rather have a great actor (Hardy) performing the role with the essence of Bane than some big guy in a mankini and wrestling mask. What work's in comics does not always work on film.WB learned lessons for sure and that's why Nolan is at the helm. Its serious now

  • @ComicBookGeezer I agree. The design was correct, but the personality of Ban was waaaaaaaaaaaaay off. Hardy is a great actor, but there are people out there that disagree with that choice. Danny Trejo, who voices Bane on Young Justice, would be a good choice IMO. I'm glad WB learned their lesson. Otherwise, who knows what would've happened.

  • @SteveIriwinFan96

People disagreed with Ledger being The Joker and we all know what happened there(even I had doubts). Also Hamill does a great 'voice' of Joker, but lets be honest could not have done what Heath did.Voice acting is completely different. For me Hardy is one of the best actors of this generation (watch Bronson) and Nolan's casting is usually pretty good. But of course its only opinions.

  • @ComicBookGeezer My thoughts exactly. While Hamill may be the best Joker, he's too old to play the character in live action. Legder did a good job, and it's a real shame he only got to do it once. There are actors I think could play him. I think Tim Curry could do it. Watch Stephen King's It.

  • @SteveIriwinFan96 I think Tim Curry's even older than Mark Hamill. How would that work?

  • @isaactaylor08 I wasen't aware of their age. I did remeber reading that Adrien Brody wanted the role of Joker, but lost out to Heath. As of now, Brody is considering playing Ant man.

  • @SteveIriwinFan96

Also can I please ask what you mean by mediocre horror movies?

Do you mean that Nolan's Batman film's are meant to be horror? I suggest you read Grant Morrison's Arkham Asylum, issued in '89.Real psychological horror graphic novel. When I watch Nolan's Batman I see The Killing Joke,The Long Halloween,Batman Year one and lot's of other nods to the comic's.If you don't like Nolan's Batman, you don't like modern Batman...The Dark Knight.

  • @ComicBookGeezer I ment horror remakes of Elm Street and films like that. I'll try to read them. My youth leader, like me, is a comic book fan. I'm sure he has a copy of one of those comcs. Oddy enough, Mark Hamill has said he'd do a Killing Joke movie.

  • @SteveIriwinFan96

I would like to see a film version of Grant Morrison's Arkham Asylum directed by David Fincher...If you have not read the book yet try and do its awesome..its like a psychological horror graphic novel.I think it would suit Fincher well.If you have played Batman Arkham Asylum its based on the book...but the book is much, much darker.

  • @ComicBookGeezer That would be pretty nice. Personally, I've always wanted to see a Batman vs. Predator. But film rights get in the way. I haven't played the game, but I did read the reviews. Do they have it for Wii, because that's the only game station I have other then DS. And yes, novels usally do surpass movies and games.

  • @SteveIriwinFan96

Well to be honest AVP films have not been great, but I do have a suggestion for you If you have not seen it already and that's a film on YouTube called Batman Dead end,its fan made and you may dig it...its quite old now but still worth a look, let me know what you think?Arkham Asylum I think is only for PS3,360 and PC.But Nintendo's new machine that come's out called the Wii-U will be launching with Batman Arkham Asylum!

  • @ComicBookGeezer I have seen it. it was actually pretty good, for a fan fiilm. I know AVP wasen't loved by many, but I liked it. I'll take it over Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus. I've heard about the Wii-U. I may trying to get it for my birthday. Then I can get Arkham.

  • Too late.

  • Batman Forever was good in my opinion, unique for Batman but still good. On the other hand, Batman & Robin was just terrible.

  • who the hell loved Batman Forever?

  • @zachmasterzach I did.

  • @zachmasterzach I do. Is there a problem? Fanboy?

  • lol haha wtf i was surprised when i heard this guy lol hahah i thought he was some fucking german or something lol because of his name lol hahah i didnt expect an american accent lol plus he looks kinda german hah

  • Ok may be I went too far to call Superman a clown but what I meant was Batman is not comparable to any superhero, or a hero. Superman is a superhero, whereas Batman is a vigilante. Not a hero and not a superhuman.

  • @HalflingShireFolk The problem with your statement is that its true and false. Batman is THE most complicated character in comics. To pin him down as just a vigilante is not accurate. Punishment, the most important aspect in vigilantism, he leaves to the legal system. So hes not completely a hero or vigilante. Also its been argued that in one way Batman is super human. He has indomitable will power. His will is so strong that if he had a green lantern ring(will powered) he would be unstoppable.

  • ok may be not an irony but obviously a very dark drama.

  • Comment removed

  • Still, since Schumacher realized what he did and apologized, he should be forgiven. The guy was open and direct aynways. And he truly apologized as he mentioned. Everybody can fuck up and nobody`s perfect. we`re only puny corrupt human beings.
