  • So, Dave won't play satanic songs anymore, but he'll tour with Slayer, who sings satanic songs?

(Yes, I know Slayer ain't really satanist and I am a fan of both Megadeth and Slayer).

  • Dave and James RuleZ

  • Mustaine plays both Rhythm and Lead 's in Megadeth, both him and Broderick have talked about this. They switch off depending on how technical the Rythm piece is, if its simpler Mustaine plays leads, if it difficult than Broderick takes over the soloing throughout.

  • goddamn artisan news always gets their news mixed up.

  • It's evident from the interview that Mustaine really loves James, it's such a heartfelt experience for him, and Metallica is a big part of him as well as a major source of bitterness.

  • That was an epic moment, definitely. Hopefully we'll have more of this Big 4 thing in the near future.

  • the girl in this video has her facts alllll wrong lmao.

  • I still don't understand why King wasn't on the stage with the rest of the guy for AIE,

  • @MrSmashman1981 Apparently he had some Slayer stuff he had to work on. He wanted to be there - he said that personally - but he couldn't because there was some Slayer stuff he had to finish or something, it was kinda vague. He was there for the later Big Four jams though.

  • 1:33 is he drunken??? he looks and hears like that

  • Kill "Em All was released in '83 but the album didn't include Am I Evil but was added on reprints of the album in '84

  • is mustaine drunk? high? i mean WTF?

  • @lowisao hahahaha i laughed so hard when i saw dave... i read this comment before i saw him and instantly started bustin up

  • wow dave is soooo on drugs in this video...

  • @spykp Nah he's been clean since the late 90's, thing is, he did so many drugs back in the day that he's probably constantly high for the rest of his life haha. Gotta love the guy though.

  • @spykp how the fuck would you know, did you hand him the drugs and watch him do them??? NO

  • @stonemiddleton he's just too fucked up xD

  • Kill 'em all was made in 1983 not 1984

  • notice that like 1986 was the best year ever for music....

  • Dumbass dave plays rythm

  • @MACARONIEMANIAC Dave play both. Both Dave and Chris does solos in megadeth so their both lead players.

  • @Sickz666 I'm also judging by the amount of skill. Have you ever seen the Broderick video?(Betcha can't do that)

  • @MACARONIEMANIAC Ah then there is no question, broderick is better at lead guitar than anyone in the Big 4, no doubt. Although i prefered Megadeth with marty, the 3 first megadeth albums with marty on are epic.

I miss Broderick in Nevermore. :(

  • @Sickz666 Well Broderick is a machine... Seriously. The guy plays circles around ANYONE, his skill level is over 9000... No shit.

Oh and the trailer is so flawed... Kill 'em All is from '83, and Dave Mustaine is the rhythm guitar player... Yeek.

Oh, and not *just* Mustaine, Ian and Lombardo were up there... The entire Megadeth and Anthrax was there and ffs King is the main rhythm guitar player, while Hanneman is the main lead... Gargh!.

  • @Venziir kerry king is both lead and rythm while hanneman is only lead

  • OMG, what a shame, many mistakes, kill'em date, then am i evil is from garage inc. & not KEA. Finaly, Mustaine is the leader of Megadeth but not the lead guitar ...

  • Kerry epic laugh

  • Didnt Am i evil get included in the Kill Em All reproduction? Which prob came out 1984

  • @UkrRusSlavic No that was like 86' ish

  • ahahah FAIL on the reporter daves Rhythm not lead

  • @Glazeman11 ahahah FAIL on Glazeman11 Dave AND Chris both switch off, there is no lead or rhythm guitarist in megadeth, its just 2 guitarists that both do solos

  • @Ivan4131994 Ugh! Fail on you bitch I have most their albums and it has Dave as Rythm in the booklet. The only songs they switch off is Holy Wars, Hanger 18 and some others... Shut the fuck pussy and put that dick in your mouth.

  • @Glazeman11 wow man you are really butthurt lol

    he did more than that

  • @Ivan4131994 Nope.. small leads nothing too crazy therefore he is not lead guitarist. Rhythm

  • @Glazeman11 the conguring, hangar 18, return to hangar, blackmail the universe, my last words, sweating bullets, burnt ice, holy wars, good morning, kick the chair, wake up dead, last rites, five magics, devil's island, mechanix, set the world afire, lucretia, ashes in your mouth, victory.

i would know this because i am a guitarist

  • @Ivan4131994 Well, I am a guitarist as well and I use do tours with a pantera tribute band and Carnifex. Like I said before he did some leads on almost of his songs but not solid enough to be considered a lead guitarist. Because he is too busy playing rhythm so Chris is the lead not Dave. Stop arguing with me about this. Shits stupid.

  • @Glazeman11 i never said dave is lead guitarist, they are bot just guitarists who do solosthe only reason you think is stupid now is because you got nothing to say, but alright you can stop complaining to me about dave being rythm guitar.

  • I'm pretty sure Dave Mustaine plays rythm in Megadeth.

  • @johnnyluvstacos My understanding is actually that the two guitarists alternate quite a bit between lead and rhythm. Just watch them play holy wars, both of them do solos, lead and rhythm riffs.

  • @guitarmaniac1123 I know Dave's a phenominal player but I was always under the impression that his official position in the band was singer/rythm player. I do know he solos sometimes though. I mean, when you rip that good, why not?

  • @johnnyluvstacos well, he's kind of the all-around man :P so, yeah, he lead's almost as much as chris broderick...

  • @guitarmaniac1123 Not that quite. Broderick usually steps in most the songs and Dave sticks to his 16th notes/ blues scales.

  • Am I Evil was released on the 1984 Creeping Death single along side with Blitzkrieg then later added to the re-release of Kill Em All to Electra records in 1988.

  • Hm... Kill 'Em All came out in '84 apparently, and they are just so musically talented that they released two albums in the same year.

  • Am I Evil wasn't released by Metallica til Garage inc. unless it was on a single or something but it's wasn't on Kill 'Em All

  • @benthebassplayer it was on their demo, no life til leather.

  • @benthebassplayer Think it was on the B-side of their 84`EP

  • No disrespect to Kirk and all previous bad blood aside, I can't help but think of what an even greater band metallica would have been if things worked out with mustaine. But then there'd be no Megadeth ofc.

  • @HeinrichVonOetker And just think about all the great solos that Kirk has made, in the end of the day...

  • Jeez Dave is all hungover. if ya look at his left eye , ya see the puffiness of way too much wine. Thats his thing nowadays - red wine, haaaaa a lil too much that night!

  • @joeknee4767 dude open your eyes and realize that they have been chillin out together, probably passing around some of tha big funky magic 4 stuff aswell :P

  • dave looks tired ha needs so extra sleep

  • Which was featured on Metallicas Hit Album from 1984, Kill 'Em All

WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU GET YOUR INFORMATION?

  • Nooooo... Mustaine doesn't do drugs :D :D :D

  • @G44hL

well, not anymore. but he used to love 'em...hahaha

  • to everyone having issues with when am i evil was released... the song was featured on kill em all but not when it was first released it was later added to the album but i cant remember exactly when

  • Am I evil is from Garage Inc. '98

  • @lyaskoff

No...from The Garage Days Revisited 5.98$ EP from 1987!!!

  • @lyaskoff

  • @blackwolf222403 your right she fuck up it was on Garage Days

  • @liltommy69 lol

  • @liltommy69 Garage INC.

  • Comment removed

  • There's so many things wrong with her statement. Kill 'Em All was released in 1983 and Am I Evil? wasn't released on the first issue of Kill 'Em All and wasn't released until the 1988 Elektra reissue.

  • This guy plays with "slayer" it basically boils down to I SUCK!!!

  • @1ballz08 im pretty sure only Lombardo could make it

  • thumbs up for Bulgaria

  • fail ride the lightning was from 84 kill em all was from 83

  • So besides Kerry, where were the other guyz from Slayer during the "Am I Evil" jam?

  • @1ballz08 err... on... stage?

  • @thebreatho LOL! Oh shit, were they? Which ones? I couldn't make'em all out. I didn't see Araya.

  • Poor kerry

  • I LOVE Kerrys response...*beep* something *beep* something, haha, so Kerry!

  • lets b honest, nobody cares about slayer and def not anthrax, this tour is all about MUSTAINE and metallica,

  • @hollywars27 Nobody cares about slayer and Anthrax? Since when?

  • @hollywars27 YEAAAAAAAA BUT SLAYER AND ANTHRAX ARE GREAT TOO.

  • 1:31 Dave is Fucking drunk

  • Doesn't that statement at 0:36-0:39 make u wanna kill 'em all?

  • Scott Ian is the biggest metal fan ever!!!

  • Thumbs up for Dave at 2:04 ROFL

  • I'm from Bulgaria and I was on the Big 4 concert ! It was facking freat ! AWESOME !

  • he looks so fucking tired..and old

  • @JRMP666

Everthing grows old and dies. You will be dismissed to nothingness sooner than him.

  • Dave has degenerative disc disease in his neck, it makes the sufferer look older and haggered, he's probably on meds for it too, so you can't blame him for looking a bit wreaked.

  • I thought that Kerry King was pissed with Dave Mustaine or something like that and that was why he wasn't on stage... but now that I look at him, he seems friendly...

  • Kill 'em all was from '83 not '84

  • @naicigameht They also didn't play "Am I Evil" on "Kill Em All".

  • @Flipper79able It was on a re-release of "Kill 'em All" in 1988 in Japan and was on the b-side of the "Creeping Death" single in 1984

  • @naicigameht Okay......but it wasn't on the release of Kill em All was it?

  • @naicigameht Also, 'Am I Evil' wasn't actually on the released version of 'Kill `Em All' , at least not the version I have.

  • @collinlahan It was only included on the japanese version

  • @naicigameht I didn't know that, why are the Japanese so special? lol

  • @naicigameht ROFLMAO 84 thumbs up.. you're lying dude (ikr :P)

  • so dave mustaine do drugs again or is he just tired im so glad that they are playing together

  • Miley slut and Justin gay in the dislike room!!

  • They all need to clear their fucking calendar...BIG FOUR TOUR across the US...NOW

  • Lol why does Dave look and sound so wasted? He looks like he's drunk off his ass or something....

  • I met Kirk at the Marriot in Tampa after show near beginning of tour.

  • R.I.P Ronnie James Dio

  • Am I Evil wasn't on Kill em All?? Lol wtf..

  • @lild219 Yes it was hahaha It was an origional bonus track until the put it on garage inc along with blitzkrieg look it up. My friends dad has the origional CD with those two songs on it its amazing haha

  • @lild219 It was a B-side

  • @lild219 it was...

  • HOLY SHIT! Dave looks older then i thought lol

  • "slayer's lead guitarist Kerry King." you idiot! Kerry plays rhythm!

  • @Shaggy076 He plays both dude

  • @mikevayne1 i know that he plays both, but he's more of a rhythm guitarist than lead.

  • hmm what the hell happened to kirk hammett ?? is he out now cause dave is back in ? wtf ?

  • @sweetgyy dave isnt back in metallica

metallica megadeth slayer and anthrax only played the song toghether but no band members changed they just were having fun together

  • bieber sucks the big one

  • Chris Broderick.

He is at the level of Marty Friedman

  • @fenopredalien no, chris it's even better! i saw him this year in argentina, he really fucking rules!

  • @fenopredalien no, he is even better than marty, i saw him, in 2010, in argentina, he fucking rules!

  • who now plays lead guitar in Megadeth?

  • Fuck, Dave's so old now. :(

  • This bitch is dumb!!! kILL eM aLL came out in 1983 and all of anthrax and megadeth and lombardo played

  • I think that Metallica and Megadeth should do a tour called "Barring the hatchet" so others can stop with this dam fighting between the two bands.

  • Dude my copy of "Kill em All" album does NOT have Am I evil on it. What the shit... although its on "Garage Inc." Retarded.

  • Comment removed

  • kill em all was 83 stupid news cunt

  • if marty was back in megadeth that would be a way better than those mustaine-hetfield moments)))

  • @ididregister Dude, don't kill the atmosphere. Marty likes pop and working with the J Pop scene. He said he didn't really like heavy metal that much. He used Megadeth as a road to start then decided to leave to do Pop in Japan. Don't get me wrong, I love Marty's solo's and he is on of my inspiration on playing elictric guitar, but he left on his own free will to do what he wanted. What they mean in this video is that the whole static between them was resolved years ago and are still friends.

  • i swear to god if that fucker lars wants a huge break after world magnetic i'll fuckin scream

  • Have any of you watched The Big 4? I got the box set for Christmas and Metallica was a big dissapointment IMO.

  • @IronMaidenDoD i watched it i have it yeah metallica wasnt on their best but theyve been touring for long time so their tired u know but would be the best if the big 4 plus judas priest iron maiden and black sabbath how epic would that be

  • @metalrulesforrever Yeah, then it would erase the fact that its just trash.

  • @metalrulesforrever it would be chuck norris epic

  • haha 2:01: when that... ... moment happened bla bla bla

  • that woman must really hate metal

  • Dave plays rythym!!

  • Wtf, they've got to tour their home soil. Am I right?

  • @IronMaidenDoD their probably going to when metallica is ready, metallica toured for a few years and they probably get a start on making a record, i think they do what they did while recording death magnetic which was going on tour while they were recording, thats probably when the big 4 will happen in the states

  • dave plays lead guitar on megadeth? well i didnt know that...

  • Kerry isn't lead. Jeff is.

  • 1. Kill em all was released in 1983 (not 84)

    2. Metallica's Am i evil cover was released on the garage days revisted cd in 1987 (not on kill em all)

how could these reporters get that wrong? if they followed the band at all they'd know those facts easily. retards

  • @bigdave11111 the recording of am i evil u heard on garage days revisited was on the first issues of kill em all along with the prince and i cant remember if there was any others

  • I hate that they straight away focused on Kerry not being on insted of Jeff, though saying that Jeff won't have done the interview like Kerry did. But still he's underrated.

  • Ok, I might put my hand into a beehive here, and it is not a big objection. But why, why are they doing the "headliner" stuff on the DVD-box set on this release, with "Metallica" all over the others?

I want full solidarity between the bands with this thing!

  • JAMES HETFIELD ft DAVE MUSTAINE side by side on AM I EVIL ho yeahhhhh !!!!!!!!

  • kill em all 1984? no

dave mustaine lead guitar? okej sometimes.

  • actually KEM was released in 1984...in Europe from the Music for Nations label

  • @TheMetalheadPenguin no i didnt use any other reference other than metallica for the point that i was defending them and had no point to need to bring up a different band... thats how i win, i choose relevant topics and countres to what your mindsless head had to say... and piece of advice for you, dont be one of those stuck up cunts who go watchign vids just to hate, get a life and learn your place in this world, cause what you and i both have to say really dont matter at all in the end

  • fuck get some sleep dude

  • i cant stand that stupid news chick, she dont kno shit bout metal.

  • I feel bad for Kerry, but he did it for the whole world instead of sofia it selves. Even If I'm in his shoes, I would love to join but more people from the whole world want to see the historic moment than I do. :)

  • @TheMetalheadPenguin haha...you kept repeating what i'm saying...you really are dumb and brainless...better off if you die..maybe the earth will have some use for you...hahaha

  • @TheMetalheadPenguin Thumbs up if TheMetalheadPenguin doesnt have a fucking clue what he is talking about

  • @TheMetalheadPenguin no you lost the war the moment you mentioned a recording artist that doesnt belong in a metal converstaion.... and how would you know what i listen too huh like really if i have to send a list of all my influences i will, as for you good you only use slayer megadeth and anthrax therefore i will assume these are the only bands you are goign to ever use as a reference... so grow the fuck up, actually know and reasearch your shit, dont be a stuck up cunt...

  • damn mustaine looks rough in this clip

  • @TheMetalheadPenguin haha...you're funny...retarded people are so funny..thanks dude..you made my day...

  • @TheMetalheadPenguin i actually dont only revolove around metallica, unlike you i listen to every kind of metal that i get my hands on because if you only listen to one type metal then your fucked as you are cause you dont know a thing that you are talking about.... and who the fuck is justin Bieber your lover or something like really dont bring up pop music on a metal video.... so save yourself the embarresment and dont bother saying anything, cause you lost this battle long ago your mindless

  • @TheMetalheadPenguin

You're an idiot. Your opinion on Slayer's albums is subjective.

Everything Metallica has done has been great besides St Anger.

  • Who is this voice-over girl that is always on this.

  • LOL STUPID GIRL WHO WAS ON THE VIDEO SAID KILL EM ALL CAME OUT IN 1984...LOL IT CAME OUT IN 1983...STUPID BITCH

  • @Metaldood4500 oh man. a whole year. ill go out of my way to forgive her.

  • @rmarino4471 LOL if your gonna report on Metallica then get your facts straight.

  • SOME BEIBER FAN HIT THE DISLIKE BUTTON

  • @Metaldood4500 nah wasnt beiber lol it was james hetfield cuz he got pissed when he heard KEA was released 1984 ! xD

  • @Metaldood4500 shut the fuck up im fucking sick of stupid jokes about the dislike bar and stupid jokes about justin bieber and if i hear one more comment about justin bieber on a metallica video then i will shit a brick and smash your face with it

  • @srvmetallica7d

    fuck you dickwad..

JUSTIN BIEBER IS BETTER THEN METALLICA!

OOHHH WHAT YA GONNA DO NOW BRAH!

  • @Metaldood4500 how many people do you think said that same joke? you only said that because you aren't fukn smart enough to post anything more than copy and paste a stupidass joke from another video. and no, justin bieber is not better than metallica and you know that. that was an epic fail attempt to piss me off and an epic fail at a troll comment. go troll on a justin bieber video rather than bringing his bullshit to the big 4 you dumb fuck
