  • wow trucks

  • Did they call off school for this. Town Holiday.

  • LOL crazy limey.

  • must not be shit to do in that Po dunk town

  • "National Holiday declared in Grayrigg!" Here ye here ye this day will be remembered in history! We shall celebrate this event each year with free beer, loose women, and no cuddling! Women with oversize counterweight are required to obtain a permit that will require 1 year and 1 day to process. Women with substantial beacons will be admitted immediately. Any women concealing a luffing jib will be barred from the event. Here ye.

  • What alot of people for a medium sized krane....

Shows howlittle happends in that village..

  • Ainscough :)

  • G-R-E-A-T crane

  • Check out the dumb cunts talking in the background..LMAO!!

  • thats fuckn lame yo

  • the name of your town sounds like something the crane fell into in an accident. I found it looking at crane accidents.

  • Country folk don't see anything like this usually, unlike City dwellers. Still, it does seem a little odd to film it.

  • guessing you didn't get to bone the bitches then...

  • Wtf?.. I heard hollywood is making a blockbuster about this crane going through the village.... Ewan Mcgregor as the crane driver and Robert Carlyle as the psycho support vehicle driver... ' Cranespottin '

  • That was no 800t Crane. That was their annual CARNIVAL!! PMSL!!

  • big deal. bunch of losers

  • Cranespotting? Weak.

  • Yipee! yipee! I wanna get meself over to pweston were its always craning OOps shot me load again!!!!

  • A tonka truck would have thrilled these village folk.

  • Calelandess, its clearly Ainscough's Demag AC1200,rated as capable of lifting 800tons.The truck alone weighs over 85/90 tons. Then the seperate blocks on the back of the second truck weigh 10tons each(two each side). These are on a steel plate that on its own(with a winch) weighs 20 tons,so combined there is 60 tons of counterweight on the back of the second truck.Where did you get 20 ton crane from?

  • definately not a 800 ton crane...lol.

    maybe 20ton crane.

  • Wow, it's a street, MAW we go us a street.

  • Erie?

  • Liebherr?

  • demag

  • That's one hell of a crane! Four billion wheels. =D

  • the video is pointless, but i liked the blonde girl. whats her name?

  • you're an epic fail at life for filming this.

  • where is the crane

  • LÓL

  • thats some sorry arse shit....

  • The next village had flags and a band, and the mayor made a speach as the crane roared by. You could even get T shirts that said 'I saw a crane'.

Britain is such an exciting place to live!

  • I got the cranes autograph

  • not much happens in your life does it.

  • 800 tons crane is not real,,,

what be different one MAUS tank is 180 tons,,,

    M1A1 tank is 60 tons

  • Comment removed

  • 800 tons is the nominal stabilizing counter force of the crane. And yes.. there are 800 tons crans. However I think this one was a 500 tonne Liebherr crane since above 500 tonnes it's usually lattice cranes for the simple reason that the weight of the boom itself becomes way too heavy if it's to be a solid telescopic boom. But yes... 800 tons cranes are real. It's no more "unreal" than a hercules transport plane being able to airlift several big tanks.

  • Your'e wrong! this crane machine had a base-plate of prefabulated amulite, surmounted by a malleable logarithmic casing in such a way that the two spurving bearings were in a direct line with the pentametric fan.The main winding was of the normal lotus-o-delta type placed in panendermic semi-boloid slots in the stator, every seventh conductor being connected by a nonreversible trem'e pipe to the differential girdlespring on the 'up' end of the grammeters. Get your facts right you Doink!

  • I'm not a fucking engineer, Doink the Clown. I could have respected your correction if you'd not been such an arrogant cockhead with that last comment of yours. Dickface.

  • :.( boohoo boohoo.... haha!

  • lol doink , ure a clown. boohoo

  • I'm a clown? Well you must be damn slow minded if you had to take an extra turn thinking to dream up that killer comeback. roflmao you're pathetic.

  • Its 800 ton Crane. Lift Cap is acctually 800 ton.

  • Yeah... 3 meters from the centre of the crane's turning point. You try fitting an 800 ton payload that close to the centre of the crane. Oh yeah! I forgot. You probably have a lot of golf balls made from white dwarf material.

  • lol you a simple minded gimboid now go home and cry to mommy cos daddy doesnt want you.. boohooboohoo :.( diddums ,,,, baby done a big boo boo hasnt he?... babababa babababa....:( :( u nonce

  • What the fuck

  • as big metal sky 'and thing makes its way through the metropolis of grayrigg the six fingered white haired local boys take a break from sheep bothering to go down main street for tea and biscuits and to cheer on grayriggs greatest historical moment. a plaque is later unveiled by local legend and 1987 uk sheepdog finalist john 'wolfboy' smith. toy model cranes can now be bought in the local shop engraved ' i was there when the sky hook passed through'.

the driver hasnt been seen since that day

  • wow real must see event there..does it happen yearly or?

  • "Crane to be used in recovering train wreck at Grayrigg going through the villiage"

Unless they have a train crash every year, I guess not.

  • wow train crash is a very risk people lifes

  • Miss kelly do you fuck!

  • She's like 13... you weirdo

  • We're not all weirdo's like italians.

  • I´ve heard that there will be a new local holiday in Crayrigg,"The Demag day" ,in memory of the day when a crane drove through the village!Wonder which day is "Day of the Banjo"?

  • its a demag ac2000

also known as a demag ac 650

  • This must have been a huge day for business in Grayrigg! Did the drivers stop for a nice Grayrigg-cooked meal? Or at least to use the fabulous Grayrigg facilities? Was school let out early? I heard the mayor of Grayrigg won reelection after this once-in-a-lifetime event. Go Grayrigg!

  • i'm sure i'm not the first to comment about this, but the residents of grayrigg, apart from being shit at holding mobile phone cameras, are amused really quite easily.

  • am sure glad the crane had a flashing light 'cos i would of missed it ............where is the banjo ?

  • WHAT? THERE'S MORE!?

  • And tommorow we hope to see a double decker bus......

  • Look, a house on Wheels.

  • The fuck they so excited about.

  • So!! What do you guys do on a quiet day?? Put petrol in water and watch all the colour changes

  • event*

  • lol even of the year in that town.. Everyone showed up with cameras and all.. ;)

  • Holy fuck.....nothing happening in your little town is there...I'm a crane guy but wouldn't go out to see one roadside unless I had absolutely nothing better to do.

  • Is that Grayrigg in Cumbria? If so I drive through it ever weekend, though always at night time so I don't recognise it in daylight.

  • wow you guys really have nothing going on huh?

  • miss kelly ill have ur number

  • disconic, you cant be much of a crane fitter that is defanatly the DEMAG AC2000 with 800ton max lift.

  • I agree with Nmemonicus. Your place sucks.

Also, Greenchills, this video wasted my time.

  • Nice one.

  • Thats Ainscough Demag AC2000 with support vehicles , Ace bit of kit .They do one bigger , the Liebherr LTM 11000 DS thats a 1000 Tonner :D . But fair play they have some good kit ....
