@ThePoisonedTaco Not the best music but it was free with the editing software. Forest fires are good for a healthy forest. Not so good for people or the things we build.

for all this, i doubt if a nikon d3000 is the best camera to use. @TimeLapseHD, whats your idea of a good proper camera thats useful for timelapse? ive made a bunch, but they're all crappy.

@jumpinjamaica5 You could get a Canon point and shoot camera, and get CHDK, that way it's almost as good as a DSLR, but a fraction of the price.

I really like this I understand about the watermark it annoys me when my photos get ripped off you could consider a compromise and turn the opacity down a little so it it not quite so distracting tho. Love the Video anyway.

I get your point, but as a viewer I agree that the email really ruins it.

Way too big and placed too high up from the border.

But I guess you learned not to make the same mistake, judging from the much subtler email/username inserted into your number one most viewed video.

@TheUnchainedMind It was a mistake to make it smaller. The "Vancouver City" video it's small and I have taken down over 100 copyright infringing videos. People zoom into the picture to get rid of the watermark and upload it as thier own.

Like the description says, "shot with a 12 mega pixel digital single lens reflex cameras". The intervals were 8 - 20 seconds. Forest fires move slow when there's no wind.

were you utilizing the undercranking video technique or actually shooting stills that were then composited into video format?

if so: what interval (the transpiration of time seemed a little slow for even 1sec. intervals) and what frame rate did you adapt to?

@majormixer Just to point out, forest fires have been around since before man and will be here long after.

All "conservation" efforts have done is make them worse by restricting the natural burning process.
