A deluxe reverb RI is a one channel amp with plenty of clean headroom. But how would you translate the settings on the DRRI to a Hotrod Deluxe? The clean channel on the HRD is suuuper clean, and in order to get clean sounds on the dirty channel the gain needs to be around one or two. When you do the demo on the DRRI, would that equate to me running the pedal into the dirty channel but set clean? or vice verse?
Hi, I have ac15 handwired, I love it, but it can be frustrating having to deafen myself and the neighbours when I want some heavier tones. Im looking for an overdrive pedal that won't rob the vox of her tone. Ive tried a couple of pedals but I was not impressed with either. This lovepedal sounds great, do you think this (or any other) would be a good match for my amp? would you recomend an attenuator? Cheers Joe
you're best bet is going to be a hermida zendrive and a Dr. Z Brake Lite that you can mount inside the combo...what kind of speakers did you decide on? The Alnico Blues?
Ah thanks for the advice, ive had a look at a couple of videos on both products. The zendrive sounds very impressive, hopefully be transparent enough so I can maintain the vox chime. I also like the idea of mounting the Dr.z inside the cabinet. So Brake Lite would be better than Thd hotplate? Oh and speaker is Celestion Alnico Blue.

@gree17 this would be like running into the HRD clean channel. no drive or more drive turned on.

I would suggest, fo "Heavier Tones", a Fultone OCD, a Catalinbread Dirtly Little Secret, or a Tubescreamer of such description
