Wait till they go to cancel when they move. Then find out 2 years later about some supposed bill, and attempts to supposedly collect on it (which were never made) on their credit report. And when they try to dispute it, the collection agencies play hot potato making it impossible to dispute the false claim (I'm on the 4th collection agency. I send a letter disputing the collection, it switches agencies).

I'm not so sure about that, I have optimum online and I pay $49.99 for a speed of around 2.5MB/s or so (which is excellent for me) and I have had it for 6 years and I always paid the same, $29.99 is for new customers and for only 6 months.

I was not stating the cost of internet service, i was stating the additional cost of having a static IP

verizon fios charges an additional $100 PLUS the monthly fee for internet and all you get for that is a static IP they give you no extras and they do not let you host a server on your connection

optimum charges 29.95 PLUS the normal internet charges for a static IP PLUS they increase your speed to 30/15 AND allow you to host a server on your connection AND give you hosting AND a domain name

I made my own video about Verizon. I don't have FiOS, and won't subscribe because I can't stand dealing with Verizon. I am a happy Cox cablemodem subscriber, I actually run 2 modems side by side and have no complaints of speed or service.
