  • Top lists are problematic especially if one isn't very specific about the criteria. e.g. for me it would probably be the Hawker Hurricane and the Mirage III at the top because they are aircraft that allowed nations to survive (my personal view).

  • Awesome video, especially with the raw sounds in the cockpit landing at Lakenheath, made me feel like i was there :)

  • 3:10.... Badass!!

  • aint it dangerous to have a object in the cock pit which is not detached i mean the camera

  • Very cool.

  • luv it!

  • I'm so jealous. The F-15E is my all time favorite fighter.

  • Excellent and thanks for not using music! I enjoy the "raw" sounds much more.

  • is the f-15 strike eagle batter than the f-18 super hornet? P.S f-18 is what the USAF uses and the f-18 is what the USN uses.

  • Short final, NICE!

  • Jet noise is the sexiest thing on the planet.

  • How'd you get this opportunity?

  • being a wso what a great job

  • Where is this filmed? Scotland? Nice video. Greetings from the cold Scandinavia.

  • Lakenheath!! I was with the F-111F's when I was stationed there. Best time of my life. What a great place to be stationed.

  • my dream........and goal !!

  • wow thats awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if i could get in the cockpit of one of those fighters, and fly in it, i would get such a head rush and such a thrill that id never forget

  • Where was that? Looks like Southeast Asia.

  • I would honestly give a testicle for a ride.

  • @LordDonutz Dude I'd give both your testicles for a ride in an F15... :P

  • f-22s are now very superior to f-15s in air-to-air. They ran an exercise a couple weeks ago in which 3 raptors 'killed' 10 f-15s without a single loss.

  • @ledhead923 F-15Es aren't supposed to be superior in the air. They can defend themselves, but their A2G specialists.

  • @ledhead923 That's old F-15s bud. This F-15 is newer and much more advanced then the F-22. More speed and more Power

  • @Failcard Kid my best friends dad is an f-15 pilot and colonel and my baseball coach is a f-22 pilot and colonel. The fact that you just called the "new" f-15s better than the f-22 would make them laugh their asses off.

  • @ledhead923 Lol well since you aren't them, and just saying you know people in the AF isn't an argument. And I doubt he's an F-15 Silent Eagle pilot when theres only 1 of them currently. The F-22 production was halted anyways, while the F-15 SEs werent.

  • @Failcard

the f22 production was halted because we already have a good amount of them and they are too expensive to make more of. there is no plane in the world, INCLUDING the f-15 that even compares to the f22. its in its own friggin category. why don't you research what facts you can about the f22 and f15 before speaking. yes the f15 has a 109 to 0 victory ratio, but guess what, against anyother plane, including the f15, the raptor has an 80 wins to 1 loss ratio, 1 loss being a mailfunction.

  • @gydzter23 I've done plenty of research, and you apparently have no idea what you're talking about. The F-22 was halted not because it's too expensive to make anymore, the military's budget is over 600 billion kid, we could mass them in the thousands if we wanted too.we halted it because the F-35 was cheaper, but still brilliant, and Russia and China are developing their own, and we just want to make sure we're still superior.

  • @gydzter23 There are just under 200 F-22 Raptors, that's a good amount if we were fighting third-fourth generation fighters, but enemy fifth generation we should of developed more, since there is no more orders for the F-22, it's quite clear that the USAF clearly wants more variety in fifth generation, such as the F-15 Silent Eagle. The F-15 doesn't compare to the F-22, because the F-15 is cold war tech, the F-15 Silent Eagle is a brand new bird. Do your research, it's clear you haven't.

  • @gydzter23 And I've seen the F-22 birds up close, I like them, but from what I've heard about the F-15 Silent Eagle, I have almost no doubts in my mind that the Silent Eagle could be a better bird. And those statistics were from older F-15s, not the new F-15 Silent Eagle. Which also has stealth capabilities (Keyword Silent) and hydraulic arms, just like the Raptor. But can be fitted by F-15 Strike eagle weapons, giving it a large range of weapons.

  • @Failcard

thats what im saying. quality over quantity... i dont know if i mentioned it but even if i did i will restate myself. the raptor has an 80 to 1 kill ratio against ANY, yes i said ANY other plane in this world. you only need 200 of them. SO, canceling the production of the f22 cause we have enough, and yes the f35 is almost as good, as well as f15se. and cause the f22 is INCREDIBLY more expensive. plus all these other countries are keyword 'trying' to produce other planes like the f22.

  • @gydzter23 "thats what im saying. quality over quantity" Stating this like you have would indicate that you would be agreeing with a previous statement that I, or someone else has mentioned, I'm saying that having more birds in the air is better then have a few good ones. The Russians have a stealth fighter in development called the Sukhoi PAK FA T-50. It's in it's prototype status, but that's what they've told us, and could be much further ahead in production then we think. It's common sense.

  • @gydzter23 For them to lie to us, they hide a lot of there new stuff, like there new rifle, the AN-94, and those T-90 tanks. We didn't know about them until a few years after they were starting to be produced. So they probably are finished with the T-50s, and only making us believe that they're still "Developing them" it's a cold war tactic. We aren't selling it because that's just standard protocol, like the M1 Abrams we've sold that doesn't have a DU mesh.

  • and in fact we aren't selling the f22 to other nations for that reason, we want to keep air superiority. where as we are sellilng the f35 to other nations.. why? cause yes its a good multirole fighter, but not as good as the f22 so we know we already have better. and the f15se may have better stealth tech and all that, but still doesn't come close the the f22, or perhaps the f35. trust me, im training right now to work on f15's and ive had multiple instructors that work on f22, f15, u2 etc.

  • @gydzter23 We're selling the F-35 to other nations for a number of reasons, and it's cheaper for our allies to produce, being as they're military budgets aren't near ours. Those statistics you keep holding onto are dated, because the Silent eagle wasn't even finished until 2010, which was years after those tests happened. So bringing them up is pointless when we compare these two birds. The F-15 Silent eagle also has a better armament, and the F-15s are battle proven, unlike the F-22.

  • @ledhead923 In war time F15 is better than raptor.

F22 is high tech machine and request special attention, thats include higher cost of maintenance.

  • @serbcs That is just BS.

The F15 as great as it was the maintenance costs was expensive (especially since they started to break apart in flight).

I am not happy with the design costs of the F-22 but in the end the US has a better jet then the F15.

The F-117 was a high maintenance plane ( a single screw could cause it to loose stealth). The F15 is becoming a high maintenance plane and sadly it is time for something better.

The F15 106 to zero kill ratio was broken by an F-22

  • @f15mech Individually F22 is, undoubtedly better, but for one raptor you can get 3 or 4 F15.In peace time price is not a big problem, but in war it is a big problem.

    Because that, I would rather choose 200 F15, than 100 F22.

  • @serbcs Honestly as much as I love the F15 I would gladly trade 200 F-15's for a single squadron of yellow colored FF F-22s. (hint hint at my history).

  • @serbcs actually you are wrong but I like your ratios...

The F-15 holds the world record with a 106:0 in air to air combat record.

In Red Flag 4 F-22's went up against I think 16 F-15s. The F-22 vs the F-15 has a 16:0 combat record. .In head to head combat I will pick the F-22 over the F-15 and I love the F-15.

Even if my numbers are slightly off you can not say more F-15's are better based on the math, when you factor in training time for the support personal and the pilot.

  • @serbcs

not true. raptor is so far superior its not funny.

right now the USAF has aprox 1/4 raptors as it does f15 in active service. and since the raptor has an 80 to 1 kill ratio, im pretty sure each one of the 8 missiles the raptor can carry will more than likely take out a single 15. specially since the raptors are equipped with the new sidewinders.

  • @gydzter23 Quantity over quality has proven itself time and again throughout the history of warfare, just take a look at WW2, the German tanks were so far superior to allied tanks it wasn't even funny, but we won because we simply out numbered them.

  • @Failcard HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • nice very nice

  • ...afternoon delight

  • F15E is the best air to air air to ground aircraft. Kicks ass and can get out of any situation it gets into and without stealth tech. F22 is ok but has way too many problems that's prob why they won't deploy it to desert deployments an always call on the Strikes and A10's.

  • I'm willing to bet that the pilot had no idea you had a camera. Only reason I know this is beacsue I was told in my F-15E/D and F-16D rides that the USAF policy is no filming inside the jets.

  • hi-i know this might be a stupid question-but Im writing a paper and am wondering if it would be correct to call this "a fighter plane" or "a fighter jet"(trying to keep the technical names to a minimum)...any help much appreciated!

  • couldn't land from the 1st time, thumbs down

  • I prefer the F-15C over the other variants, but the f-15E is still an amazing plane and this is a great video.

  • this thing goes almost 3x the speed of sound...

the statistics say mach 2.5+ meaning they won't release the real top speed

  • snarwars how do you put the f-15 on top of the f-22

  • Shoot's down what's up, blows up what's down.

    I was a 462 in the 80's. Got a ride in a clean B. ;)

    Happy hunting Guys. Check six.

  • Looks like RAF Lakenheath, to me. I was stationed there for years in the '90's when they had the F-111F's.

  • I love the "oh shit bar" in front.

  • its steve davis the photographer in the back seat,

i worked at lakenheath for the mod,i still live on the flight path watch them out of my office window everyday.

  • Nice long wheelie he did at landing!

  • Man I cant wait to fly this baby, only three more years of college left then this baby is mine. Watching videos like this is what motivates me to do my best in school because pilot slot are REALLY competitive and they only take the people with the best grades and physical fitness performance.

  • Good luck

  • Best job in the world. =]

  • Na best job in the world is a boob tester :) whateva that is.

  • @genobee01 and then the worst job in the world is Maintaining these jets..

  • what base is that?

  • Pra quem gosta de dar um rolezinho de f15...

  • This near the Mach Loop?

  • was this at lakenheath?

  • strike eagle has automatic terrain following?

  • Comment removed

  • The Air Force says a fighter jet assigned to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina has crashed in eastern Afghanistan.

The military said in a release Saturday that an F-15E Strike Eagle crashed about 6:15 p.m. Friday EST, which is 3:15 a.m. in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Both crewmembers died in the crash.

  • -Salutes the fallen-

  • BRUTAL! my favourite military aircraft!!

it's great to see how fast he can go....

    Mach 2.5+ (1,650+ mph, 2,660+ km/h)

it is one of the fastest military aircraft in use!!

all is great the range is about 4000km that's a lot for a strikefighter!

  • TOP TEN FIGHTER AIRCRAFT 1. F-15Strike Eagle/Silent Eagle 2. F/A 22 Raptor 3. P-51 Mustang 4. SU 37 Terminator 5. Rafale M 6. Eurofighter Typhoon 7. F/A 18 Super Hornet 8. F-16 Fighting Falcon 9. SU 47 Berkut 10. Mig 29 Fulcrum
  • thats a very good list of top 10 fighters hmmm i wouldnt have SU-47 there cause its not really a fighter,i would have F-35 in at number 5,thats the only change to your list i would make,

  • @snarwars f-16 its the most operative so its the best... ability stated f-22 is best with sukhoi following it close...

  • @snarwars

What on earth makes you place the Strike Eagle higher up on your list than the standard F-15 -- which isn't on your list at all?

The Strike Eagle is nothing but an upgraded F-15 which came 10 years later, the original F-15 was incredibly more accomplished and remarkable for its time than the Strike Eagle was, thus the standard F-15 is much more impressive than the Strike Eagle.

  • @getpagesize F-15E has a much sweeter/applicable mission

  • @getpagesize

but what the Strike Eagle did in the Gulf-war is incredibly outstanding.

  • @DonLduk

That doesn't ascribe to the notion of giving credit to the design itself.

The fact is that the standard F-15 was much more accomplished than the Strike Eagle, the Strike Eagle is more akin to the F-16C compared to the original F-16 -- the original is the most impressive when the time it was introduced is taken into account.

  • @snarwars I call bullshit on that one.

  • @snarwars

The Strike Eagle isn't a fighter, it's an F-15 Eagle, which is a fighter, loaded for ground attack.

  • @snarwars su-47 is not a fighter aircraft,its a expiremental/technology demonstrator aircraft

  • @snarwars F-15 STRIKE EAGLE is a stealth aircraft u know that right?

  • @subzyro5 F-15 strike eagle is not a stealth aircraft...

    theF-15SE silent eagle is stealth

  • @snarwars these are just my favorite aircraft

  • @snarwars where mirage 2000 stands :D

  • @snarwars except for the strike eagle is not an air to air aircraft....the f22 kills any air threat any time it wants...f-15 eagles (not strike eagles) are air to air and still don't stand a chance...1. F-22 raptor 2. F-15C

  • @snarwars wheres the spit? the spitfire and the mustang should be 1-2 they saved the world litterally

  • @snarwars You forgot the F-4 Phantom...

  • @snarwars 1. : Bf-109 F-4 in Africa =)

  • @snarwars you should put the su 37 in the first place dude

  • @padawan007 Why would he do that? The Su-37 doesnt have anything but it's thrust vectoring nozzels. That and only two of them were ever made...

  • @snarwars Lol , F15 on one, we both know its bullshit, and p51 mustang... yea right, su 47 berkut? Not in service... has never fought a dogfight, rafale above eurofighter? yea fucking right, and Gripen not in the list.... Gripen is proven to be better than the f15, f18, rafale. fucktard

  • @reindenaab keep it civil here, this is my list, doesn't have to be yours

  • @snarwars There is no such thing in making a list with not in service aircraft..

  • @reindenaab whatever man, im no expert, besides that list was made when i was 13

  • Psh. I can do that. ON MY X-BOX!!! These pilots are amazing human beings. If I was man enough to fly one of these things I would have to run out of fuel before wanting to land.

  • you can see the turbulance

the f 15 isn`t as good as the tornado ids in low level can go to 50 ft with the FTR

  • Nobody flies at low altitudes like the Brits can......awesome! The Strike Eagle is a different attack plane than the Tornado.....each have their strengths!

  • favorite part was when they did the nosedive from high altitude

  • kickass i wanna do this

  • Audio is a little choppy but still a great view

  • Looks like my old stomping ground in Wales??

  • The most realistic audio on UTube. I remember hearing those F15 sounds at a pre-flight to the air show in 1998 at MARB. The low level growl of the fighter as it turned sounded like it was something from another place in time. A space ship.

  • I want to do this more then anything.

  • Me too i have a scholarship with the RAF

  • plz dont flame me or anything but

isnt the f-15E strike eagle a two seater?

  • it is.

  • AWESOME! I wonder how fast were they flying?

  • probably at like 345mph or something whatever the cruise speed is for it

  • yeah, umm...no,,500knots 500 ft

  • mph knots same difference but thanks for correcting me.

  • As a rule of thumb, roughly 7 nautical miles equals 8 statute miles. IE: 1MPH= 1Statute mile. Where 1knot (aviation= about 1.15 greater than a MPH). Wasn't correcting you....just letting you know thats what we root around at. 500kts 500ft...

  • ok thanks learn something new everyday

  • wow thats awesome, reminds me of acecombat too

  • Is that Lakenheath? Are you a WSO or was that an incentive ride?

    95th FS, Tyndall AFB Florida

  • WOW!!!!! The best flying video on You Tube.

  • hell yea

  • Umm bionicpix the guy the in the backseat is called a navigator. He does tacn channels and checkpoints and stuff of the sort. And lucky me these F15 fly over my house daily and they fly low too i mean its crazy how lucky i am.So im planning on going to the academy.

  • Actually, the backseater is the WSO (weapons system operator).

  • i take it the Gs were too much to hold the camera just after the 5 minute mark on the sudden accel??

  • Oh I would so throw up! But still dang cool!

  • Wow. Never seen a vid like this before. Really get the sensation of speed in this one. And how close to those mountain tops. Does the guy in back just hold on and shoot video on runs like this, or is there anything for him to do. Got a bit queezy watching. Can't believe they just spin around and land like that. Cool.

  • i wanna fly an f-22 or f-35

  • your a lucky guy hopefully i get to live a my dream and be a fighter pilot

  • i would like to ride on one of those

  • good..! my dream is fly a Su30 ^^

  • nice man im up in RAF cottesmore in harrier trainin. I hope i get transferred to conningsby tho iinto the eurofighter squadron. Those are the planes i wanna fly.

  • I sure miss the british ladies as well, boy did I get some poontang while I was there!!!!!

  • That is RAF Lakenheath I was stationed there for 11 years. I sure miss the heath!

  • i figured that was from RAF lakenheath...

  • Nirvana indeed

  • sign me up

  • F-15E NO 1

  • man i would love to take a ride like that

  • EXCELLENT !!

  • KICK ASS!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice!
