I was diagnosed bipolar with schizophrenic tendencies when I was 17, and I had been self-injuring since I was about 14...it's very frustrating trying to explain to my husband why I sometimes simply can't deal with seemingly small things, but the level of anxiety is just something I can't put into words.
funny enough, when I was first diagnosed my family was very "if you lose weight, this will all go away..." like all my mental instability had to do with being overweight. ridiculous!
God sees your effort to remain mentally healthy. Keep your faith in him alive.

yah I think groups and thinks like that really do help and the hospital does as well but if it's u thats wanting to go.
