WTF, your really gifted, i assume your the lead guitarist in a band, your playing style if awesome very much like I am looking to be able to play like. I'm almost there I just dont quite have the control you have over the fretboard yet. More noodling like this please!!!!!
Sorry if i'm asking again, but i must have some information about humbucker's change.
I mean, how about the differences beetween ceramic and Seth Lovers (please explain loud because i have to know, maybe for a change :D i don't know, but these ceramic seems to sucks...did they ?? Did you ever tried SD antiquity ?
@gabriele89music - I'm not a fan of ceramic pickups. Alnico ones are smoother and more-open with better clarity. In my opinion, a Les Paul type guitar will sound best with low-output, vintage-style, PAF-type humbuckers like the Seths or Antiquities (The Antiquities are like an aged-looking/sounding version of the Seths - I have Seths in a flame-top Dean Evo, which is essentially a Les Paul type - Love the sound - The set-neck Evos have great sustain).
@gabriele89music ceramic usually handles more gain, to agressive kinds of sound.. if you want a modern / puncher and 'shaped' sound, go to ceramics, if you want a vintage tone, warmer and kinda dirty, go alnico... alnico II is softer than alnico V - the V one get close to ceramics cuse they got morre trebblin response
but don´t fool yourself, there´s a hole of famous players that uses ceramics WITHOUT being metal players.. richie kotzen is one of them, check for his music
@gabriele89music I love the Classic....its the best guitar ive ever owned....yeah Seths in neck and bridge. The amp im playin through here is just a cheap practice amp...cant remember what make it was. Usualyt I play through a Marshall JCM800 50 watt valve combo....fab!
I have the Seths in a heritage cherry sunburst Dean Evo SS (I'm poor), and I've never been happier with my tone, even more so than I was back when I had a Les Paul (late '80's LP). They seem to have the most complexity and smoothness of all the Duncans, and the sound clips are very-indicative of that. I paid $300 for the Dean plus another $200 for the Seths (plus $25 for Carvin tuners), and I'm so-happy right now. The Throbaks are next if I ever get the money but I'm not sure I even need them.
Hi! Have you ever heard any kind of microphony? I have Seth Lovers too and I´ve never noticed this problem but some people are asking me about it. Thanks.
Yeah I have to admit they do squeal if you use high gain but im gonna wax them myself soon. The trick is to be good with the volume control....SECRET WEAPON!
Hi gain... Can you give me an example? Maybe a song that you play... I´ve never experienced such squeals. I play Led Zeppelin, Purple, Lynyrd... Hard Rock basically. Thank a lot man. :-)
Yeah awesome style, looks like a lot of fun.

I like your style. Bluesy, not to fast but not slow. Very heavy but very precise. Nice guitar/p-ups!

Congrats man,
i've got some questions:
1. what do you think about LP classic (i've the same guitar, same colours), and the ceramic magnet ?
2. do you have SD SEthlover in BRIDGE and Neck position ? Or the Bridge is different ?
3. What's your amplifier ?
Thanks ;)
