now can you make a vid of showing the DSS combo because i really can't understand what to do with those not attack card combos like uranus + unicorn etc.

my shooter really does lack str - by the way the higher your str is the higher the damage of that cross. :)) nice vid.

it is after you defeat dracula in his vampiric form - when you are a vampire killer

then another mode is unlocked the magician - defeat dracula with magician then you can unlock the fighter mode, beat dracula again - you hv unlocked the shooter mode then beat dracula with your shooter you can now have a thief. that's all :))

and another question, which is the best equipment? I use magic robe + double grip (and also use thief mode, I dont have that nerve to wait until both double grips are drop in other modes)

I usually cast thunderbird summon right at room 1 before all my mana goes down, its so cheap :P And when you use mana pots, you can summon if you time your mana right

Try the DoubleGrips. After the Shinning Armour the DoubleGrips give the best stat boost, but it is SO hard farming the Dark Armours for them and worse you nedd to farm TWICE for the DoubleGrips because you need TWO OF THEM for the AWESOME GOD LIKE STAT BOOSTING POWERS TO WORK! Well the name "DoubleGrips" probally means you need two of them to work...

Its easy to breeze by the two.

Magician mode is easy because:

1: You ca summon rush ANYTHING

2: Pluto/Unicorn can get you through the entire game.

3: At a certain point, your MP is superficial (at over 2000-3000, there's no point in even having a bar).

Fighter for the most excellent reason of:

Your stats are too high for anything, EVEN DRACULA to pose a legitimate threat to you, even if you have no DSS.

@Machdude Heh, yeah, played thru those, wasn't so hard/time consuming. As a magician, well, spam summons-> dracula & the buddies are toast. As a fighter, well, your whip is the bane of all living things, and you can take hits all the time without dying.

in the minotaur room u must use a mp potion then fast summon the thunderbird and then it will kill ALL minotaurs.thats what i do

yup, i did the same thing in the minotaur room but i discovered on accident that you can double jump to avoid damage if you threw the 2 crosses fast enough

Impressive job on the arena though, getting hit only once. Is Nathan really that weedy in Strength/Defense in Shooter mode? I've only played Magician Mode for half an hour or so, never bothered to finish it (too much fiddling with that DSS system all the time) so I haven't unlocked Thief and Shooter yet.

Nathan actually has the same HP, Strength, and Defense values in Magician, Shooter, and Thief mode. Of course, strength is pretty much irrelevant in Shooter mode since his subweapons get such boosted power.

Yeah, DSS (Dual Set-Up System) is where you combine 2 cards for a magical effect, like Pluto + Black Dog = Skeleton Nathan.

And no... a skeleton arena run (if it was even possible) would be ridiculously dependent on luck. I enter the Wind Demon room. I don't get a SUPER BONE within the first two throws. I die. And this pretty much describes how a lot of the other rooms would play out, like the Minotaur room. And then in the Demon Lord room... errr... yeah... x____X
