Between this and 'Bed Of Roses', I thought Kenny Rogers had taken to covering Bon Jovi songs, but I guess the reality is that Jon just nicks Kenny's titles.
My husband and I have been separated for years as we just can not live together without arguing. I was singing this the other day while he was over and he laughed and said, I don't know if we're a GOOD thing but we're NEVER going to end. yeesh...I can't decide if that's scary or not! LOL.. great song and always one of my favourites. Good message as well for any relationship ending.
My best country music from long time ago when I was schooling in Maralal,a place called Longewan. There was a good teacher nicknamed BIG BULL[don't why this name].He loved this song with a passion!!!!!!!Guess this is where my love for country music started.

@reverendflash So true.... and indeed "Janie, Don't You Take Your Love To Town" seems to be based on another of Rogers' classics...

I love Kenny Rogers and owned over 40 albums by him.
However I think my husband disposed them when we separated and moved out of the matrimonial home.
I am so mad about that and will have to make up for it by getting cd's in the store of him

It was the last song Country 59 (Toronto Canada, AM 590) played in 1995 just before the station went all sports.
Excellent choice.
