  • delicious recipe thank you for sharing. one question though. can i make this recipe with different kinds of vegetables like broccoli and carrots?

  • yumm

  • Is this the girl from How I Met Your Mother?? holy crud she looks like Cobie Smulders

  • great job ,very yummy.

  • your shirt is green...Aspargus Green

  • yep, she said asparagus-y.... lol

  • is it unhealthy?

  • @narungga hhahahahhaah, wtf.

  • Im about to try this. I sure you hope you know what your doing because my girlfriend gives me black eyes when i mess up dinner..

  • I tried your recipe today for dinner and it was amazing. I have never made asparagus before because I never knew it would be so easy. I can't wait to try more of your recipes.

  • Good times. When I think of spring, I think of asparagus.

  • I tried it, very good. Thanks

  • Trying this right now! i cannot wait thanks alot for the video!

  • You should add some minced garlic.

  • I use this same process for bell peppers, broccoli, sweet pearl onions and potatoes... OMG it's sooo good. I tried asparagus with this method a few weeks ago and it's the ONLY way I actually like (LOVE) asparagus.

  • This is my go to video on how to make this. I cook it as often as possible. I love it!

  • Excellent ! cant wait to try

  • Thank you so much !! it was soooo good this way 20 min was too long it was a little mushy but still amazing!

  • This was really awesome - I'm a single guy who's finally trying to learn how to cook, and this was really helpful - thanks for explaining everything so clearly! I look forward to checking out some of your other recipes. Thanks!

  • I made this for dinner tonite... *TWO BIG THUMBS UP* Even my boyfriend really liked it, and he doesn't even like asparagus.

  • Delicious and easy, thank you for posting.

  • 20 minutes was too long for me... was mush. but still good! Going to go with 15 minutes tonight.

  • trim your bangs next time before shooting

  • @HYNTproductions seriously who cares about the bangs???

  • @KiaGreenEyes it's a little distracting when she goes to "flip" it off her eyes every damn second... that's all.

  • @HYNTproductions bitch!!!

  • Thank you for this video!!! I just tried it and it's so easy and they taste wonderful! (I used a seasoning salt with a special sea salt, lime, rose and ginger mix- and I found this really added some more depth and dynamic to the flavour!)

  • Thanks for the video! You look delicious! I would love to eat you with some of that asparagus!

  • mama

  • Did you skip a step? I usually wash asparagus before putting onto a tray...

  • @Peppermintface Wow. And then people complain that the video is too long, too much detail, etc. What is wrong with you people? Just assume that she's washed them already or wash them yourself, unless you need a video tutorial to tell you how to do that.

  • i tried to make it just now. it came out mushy. =( .. i put it for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. i know how some ovens are different than others...so how can i tell when they're ready? also.. does it make a difference if i don't peel the ends..i forgot to. and i don't have any balsamic vinegar..would apple cider vinegar work?

  • @funsized eat an asparagus when u r cooking for the 1st few times... once u r familiar with your equipment u will just know when its cookeed by time, colour and texture when u lift an asparagus.. . as for vinegar, balsamic and apple cider are completely different taste... but personally i think it will still work

  • lmao 400 celcius.

    silly

  • I like this...I probably used a little too much salt...but it tasted good and flavorful.....Probably best to use Kosher salt not sea salt

  • I will try this.***

  • We tried it at our house this evening and it was AWESOME! I highly recommend it!

  • This was awesome! I tried it tonight and will not eat asparagus any other way ever again.

  • 400 degrees Celsius, Kelvin or Fahrenheit?

  • Fahrenheit.

  • i don't know if you're trying to be smart, or just an idiot. 400 degrees celsius? do u seriously think an oven needs to be that hot to cook fucking asparagus lol? kelvin? yes dude, we're going to be using kelvins on our ovens

  • Going to try this tonight..sounds wonderful..your very cute by the way!!

  • eating this right now! SO Good!

I think I left it in a bit too long, but still tastes good and a bit crispy :-)

    thanks! for recipe

  • i did everything you said but mine came out burnt.

  • not all ovens are the same.

  • PLEASE invest in a wireless lapell microphone. Good ones are less then 100 dollars and they make a HUGE world of difference in the sound quality in a video!

Great video though! I LOOOOOVE aspargas and can't wait to try it this way. I have always blanched and pan fried aspargas so this is exciting for me.

  • ooooo she said its good eats! that is copyrighted! pay your royalties. lol

  • that looks really easy and good

  • NALTS!

  • Great Recipe, but you over cooked them, 20 minutes is way too long, 10 mins would be fine, otherwise they become too soft.

  • Love the video, thx for the tips

  • I found this on the Internet and came here to comment. I made this Sunday for dinner. In lieu of using the Salt, I used a Garlic and Herb seasoning that was zero Salt and zero MSG. Let me tell you . . . the BEST Asparagus I have ever tasted and it was my very first time making it. I am a Pescetarian who eats mainly Raw Food and this will definitely be added to my list. Thank you! =;)

  • A great variation is to add lightly toasted sesame seeds once they're roasted. . pan toast the seseme seeds and then sprinkle them on the finished asparagus.

  • She took WAY too much off that stork.

MMMmmmmm. asparagus wee also smells amazing :D

  • yum, yum, yum, looks good.

    the asparagus, too.

  • Just tried it - brilliant! It was super easy and yummy!!! Thanks for sharing!! :)

  • That does look ridiculously easy, also looks great as well. I'm going to have to try that out tonight. Thanks for the great video!

    Casey - GreatChefs

  • Great video, as my mom loves asparagus, I'm going to make this for her on Mother's Day - thanks so much!

  • i'm going to try this tonight...

  • thanks!

  • I finally did it. MAN was that good. :) I am going to cook my aparagus this way from now on. :)

Are you single? LOL You can sure cook.

  • I usually use my George Foreman grill to grill asparagus, and it comes out really well, but I'm going to try this method today. I have a T-bone steak just waiting and I want my asparagus just right to go along with it.

    It looks so easy. :)

  • The George Foreman grill was one of the greatest thing put out on the market ever!!!

  • this looks ridiculous...

    ridiculously delicious

  • That is terrific! Thanks so much! :)

  • Loved this..also I had forgotten how Asparagus is so good for you too. Thanks for posting this..I shall steal your method as steaming, as you say, tends to loose flavour, flavor? (UK here) Thats so weird we have that spelling thing! Love Asparagussy. Best.

  • @joelarama Whether you are in the UK or USA it's 'lose' not 'loose'! Learn the difference.

  • asparagussy???....hahaha

  • cant wait to try :)

  • I want to marry you! That recipe kicks ass and I can't believe I never thought about it before!

  • I cannot imagine the asparagusieness, it is beyond my comprehension.

  • I noticed you cooked the asparagus in the oven without a cover. Everywhere else I read about it says you should use one. Is it really necessary?

  • cool

  • Thank you! I have yet to buy Asparagus because I didn't know how to cook it. I'm excited to try it this way- Thanks again, Gina

  • Wow this looks good, im cooking it right now as we speak, ill tell you if I liked it. I'm happy that I got all the engredients hehe.

  • Excellent presentation! You kept it simple, easy for anyone to try and at the end a beautiful presentation. I finally get asparagus :)

  • balsamic vinegar yay!

  • cool recipe gonna try soon cheers
