Hieronymous played by my old mate Norman Jones. Now lives in Newport Shropshire. Appeared in early classics of Dr Who. Also seen in The Sweeney, Some mothers do ave em, Porridge, Crossroads, Played The crooked man and many more TV shows during the 60s 70s (with Diana dors in All our saturdays) and early 80s.
Nevermind the fact that there's adverts on a BBC show. What I want to know is why there is an advert from the 2000s on an episode of Doctor Who released in the mid 70s.
03.20 Lol, What are a couple of cockney beafeeters doing in medievel Spain?
Tom Baker never wanted to leave Doctor Who, but had got into a routine of every year saying "I'm getting a bit old for all this" and then the production team would beg him to stay. Then one year he said it and JNT just nodded and went "Sorry to see you go".
@batmanofni Ive got a magazine on it and it's because he didn't want to go. He did the part too long really, and went a bit mad. Think he thought he was Dr Who.
Hmmm ... the guard at 14:00 tells the Duke that 'they' could not be found. But surely the Duke doesn't know about Sarah yet?

How does he know exactly where to find Sarah, and just in time, in a warren of secret tunnels?
Is the map a secret lost Roman knowledge that the Time lords had a book about?
maurice 1 year ago
@maurice He doesn't he blunders into it. The 4th Doctor never really does anything intentionally.

Tom Baker & Peter Davison will always be "my" Doctors as they were around during the bulk of my childhood....

AH! So this is why people think Tom Baker is the best Doctor.
After watching Keeper of Tracken and Logopolois I felt Tom was highly overrated.
Opinion is now changed.

Watch the early stuff man, he was the doctor for the longest of any actor. He was THE doctor.

@KlaatuNinja I think Tom is the only Doctor who's last stories are his worst, most other Doctors went out with a bang.

There is something about how Baker grins when being chased that puts me in mind of Harpo Marx.

I Like the fact Guliano says he has a theory that the world is round and not flat, yet he has jus run past a statue of Atlas holding up the Earth.

I think the outdoor sequences look like they're shot in the gardens at Stourhead possibly.
