I work in the truck industry and like them all, but the v8s blow head gaskets easier and have pretty small bearings and only five mains. Still pretty good engines, but all the big trucks, like 99.99%, run inline sixes because v8s failed repeatedly and prematurely compared to the slower sixes. That dragster could pull a trailer pretty fast I bet.
@CUMMINISDEZEL dmax is not a peice of crap its actually very decent and is the only diesel that can truly give a cummins a run for its money it'll blow a powerstroke out of the water any day and on rare occasions can do the same to a cummins but that is extremely rare

I mean all you have to do is throw air and fuel to a diesel motor to make power but unless you know what your doing, you are going to fuck shit up.
