The parent of that kid changed the charges for Negligence insteand of molestation in the las minute to get money because they know if you put Negligence instead of molestation, MJ insurance company take part and pay them wheather MJ likes it or not, that's what insurance companies do. If you keep the molestation word you would get normal a criminal trial, something MJ wanted but not the accusers because they had nothing to prove in court.

In a Civil Trial anybody can win no matter who is innocent, because you don’t need much evidence like in a Criminal Trial. A Civil Trial can go on for at least 7 years, something MJ didn’t want. Insurances pay when someone claims “Negligence” sometimes without client approving. That is how some Insurance make money. Ask any important doctor who has been accused of Negligence.
