I've had my dream of flying since I was 4... I started flying lessons in May 2009 and now doing my navigation flights. If I keep pressing on, I hope to earn my PPL by early 2011 sometime. It's a been a real dream alright! That buzz when you fire up the prop and taxi off... can't beat that feeling! Oh, I'm 45 years young.
@leon6266: Flying training was never an option in our family... nobody knew what to do, I was too young to know it myself, and the money was never there. The usual: life takes over and before you know it, priorities change. But flying is an "itch" that never quite goes away. So after all these years, here I am!
@TheNinja1688 I feel you man!! Mine's the same story as yours. And by God I will fulfil this itch. Whether I have to sell off some of my property or sacrifice a few luxuries..
@shaheertanveerakhan Man, I forgot about this thread until you popped up here! I earned my PPL about 6 months ago. Best feeling ever to know that you've achieved something as significant as being able to pilot an aircraft. That itch now needs constant scratching!
