I agree that you cannot really defend any game's story just from the demo but Dante's Inferno is based off of an actual piece of literature. I have to say that GoW almost perfectly imitates Greek mythology. Its pretty amazing considering that it is contemporary.

i'm sure dante's inferno is a loose adaptation, and probably not very faithful to the source material. and that's not something i have a problem with (i am somewhat familiar with the divine comedy), but really, i'm sure there will be major differences between dante's inferno - and the game adaptation.
