I cannot wait until release september 7 2011, However the only thing that can make me not like this game is horrible western voice acting. I hope we have the option to revert to korean /japanese voice acting. The majority of western voice acting sound stiff/fake and without emotion or passion. Reason being that most video game localizations for the USA hire voice actors who are hollywood scubs out to make a quik buck. I highly doubt they will make USA voice actors sound as good as korean/japan

@Ravnic i have been following the web page and they are going to use voice actors from valve, and as well as from bungie, cortana's voice actor is going to be in the game as well
its a great game over all...i been playing it for ages through a proxy server...tons of english players. my only real complaint is that i love to play defensive type chars and in this game the lancer is the tank and its attacks are just horrible...im not talking offensive firepower because all tanks in all games are offensive gimps for the most part im talking animations and boring attacks.
@RammsteinVS WoW took 5 years from announcement to release and this game has been in asian beta's for years, western beta's start in two or three months.
@RammsteinVS Surely not in 2012 or 2013. Blade and Soul and maybe even Archage will be out by then, which would be bad I think. Both are pulling alot of attention, and just because people are sceptical about Tera they probly wouldnt give it a second thought if either of those two games were already out. Im still rooting for 2011, god help me if Blade and Soul comes out before Tera. I may deviate from the path of righteousness (which is Tera).
@manuber14 lol, well I played GW when it came out. I have Factions and Nightfall, but im just too much into Tera. And B&S and Archage have aspects in them that I really like. B&S for example have HyungTae Kim as the artist. He has one of my favorite art styles, as well as a hard oriental kung fu feel. Archage, well you can build ship and houses and eventually establish a town. The naval ship battles would be alot of fun, as well as ransacking player towns (the pirates life for me).
@YugureUsagi Blade&Soul is too much story based .. i dont know about the westernization of the game... but if they dont make a serious changes ... it wil suck hard... but the graphics is awesome and the running- fly-jump thingy too.. love it but dont wanna be stick to the story all the time ... story that you HAVE TO go true... TERA will be better in that and new combat system will pull it to total new game experience so TERA wins it 4 me !!
@YugureUsagi why go to Blade & Soul? when you actually look at it it has the same old point/click lock on system the past 10 years worth of mmos have had with fancy animations and slight fighting game mechanics. the parts where you can do all the fancy wall-running/jumping over huge distances work exactly like the old guided flying mounts in WoW just with nice animations. i say stick with TERA for its combat system and hope it eventually adds sandbox elements

@Cynthric Tera is a sandbox MMO with some instanced dungeons. The political system is 100% player driven content, and it allows players to rule regions, and their entire servers.
@Nitzleplick while the political is a sandbox element it's only 1 sandbox element out of all of TERA's themepark elements right now unfortunately. i'd like to see them add some massive open areas where you can build your own homes/towns. let people have to defend their town from invading monsters or players trying to takeover/pillage/destroy it. i know they can do it eventually it's just a matter of if they will or not
@Cynthric Siege type mechanics in MMOs have never been good. It's been tried in DAOC, Warhammer, Aion, L2 and it for the most part was extremely generic and uninteresting. The only MMO that seemed to have been on the right track was SWGalaxies. Tera has been stated that there will be Guild housing in the future. There you go. Also there will be massive PvPvE battles between 4 servers in Agaia. Between that and ruling entire servers (Not some house), Tera's sandbox is much better.

I actually just logged off of Vindictus, I can only stand it for about a hour at a time before I get tired of the repetiveness, but its still fun if you can get in a group that wont experience much lag.
