  • @24hrfreek Oh yes, I do have a few crochet leaves. I will send you the links to your inbox.

  • Would this idea work on a the puff stitch hat?

    Thanks,

    - Sherrell

  • @1love2008falife I would say that if you make extra long loops so that they are secure on the hat, it should work. I have not tried it so I do not know for sure at this point.

  • I loved this flower i put it on a corcheted pot holder i made for a Christmas present thank you!

  • @CrochetingFreak55 Great idea! Thank you!

  • How can you do writing on it Teresa, please tell me?

  • @Bufurzone I use a yarn guide and loosely sew in the letters with a strand of yarn. I will follow that and pull it out as I am making the embroidery chain.

  • @tjw1963 I tried it but it turned out childish as a kindergarten letters!!..:(

  • @Bufurzone There is always going to be an amount of practice to fine tune the appearance. Have you seen the character cube I have posted showing how to make the letters?

  • @tjw1963 I'll see now, thanks.. :)

  • @Bufurzone You are welcome! :)

  • Te felicito ,tus clases son hermosas. Desde LIma Perú.

    Grace.

  • what kind of square is that?

  • The trinity stitch.

  • can you make a demonstration for it please?...

  • There is a tutorial for the Trinity Stitch. In the search box type in the keywords, "Trinity Stitch, tjw1963" and it will come up.

  • ohh ok sorry..but thank you..

  • COOL

  • COOL

  • Thanks for sharing this stitch I could add it to many things I make and things I make from my crochet club where we donate to many places..

  • You are welcome. I was thinking the same thing that it could be used in endless places on crochet. The 4-ply yarn canvas may be a little more difficult to work on but the embroidery stitches will still add a unique accent.

  • May i ask what stitch did you use on the square?

  • It is the Trinity Stitch. The tutorial for the Trinity Stitch has been posted for about a week now.

  • Thanks so much Teresa I really did need this so that I could complete the dress that I made. It is a shame that there are not more videos on how to embellish crochet the net just does not have them. I have seen this on lots of things and have wondered how to go about doing it. The pattern that was supposed to show how to do it did not show how to tack it down. Well off to watch and learn Thanks a million.
