I am a Romanian railfan living in Sibiu very keen on both ND2 and ND3 diesel locomotives.Can anyone help me by posting a 5 min. video footage showing these engines in action please? Cornel from Sibiu.
Probably ND2 and ND3 aren't in operation anymore as I can only see that on photos many years ago, and I've heard some of them being stored or shipped back to Romania several years ago.
For the high speed EMUs, we have both own design(few) and cooperative design(most), also several types, for example, France Alstom version, Japanese version, Germany Siemens version which is nearly the same as ICE-Russia, but runs faster. St.Petersburg-Moscow, ICE-Russia run at 250km/h, ICE-China run 350km/h, I don't why.
ICE-China run 350km/h in new high-speed lines, 200-250km/h in conventional lines. ICE-Russia run at 250km/h in conventional lines. Japanese version CRH2 run at 160-250km/h.
For the locomotives, at the beginning, we copy and imported some from Soviet Union:), later, we design our own, in this video, all the electrical locomotives are designed by China, and the newest ones are cooperative production between China and USA-GE/France-Alstom/Germany-Siemens.
Yeah, in this video, most cars are green ones with out air conditioning, which I think is the copy version of Eastern Germany or Soviet Union production. But now there are more cars with air conditioning, most of which are completely Chinese design, some new ones are cooperative production between Bombardier and China.
I have noticed that this train has a very interesting variety of motive power and coaching stock, most notably the electric/diesel locomotive combinations of an SS9G/DF4DK at the start of this video and then later, an SS9/DF4DK combination.
I have confirmed with my friends, SS9G and DF4DK in this movie were all working at the same time, but usually, for this kind of combinations, only one locomotive works, it's used to deliver a locomotive.

That's great! I have been a railway fan for more than 5 years, because I grew up with steam locomotives in my hometown, where even now it is still a steam loco world, I get more interested in the modern locomotives/trains/EMUs. I know some UK trains such as the famous Class43 diesel HST, Pendolino tilting train .... but the UK railway is too complex for me, too many type of tracks and trains

BTW, there is a green car marked 'RZ24' in this video, it's manufactured by the East-Germany, so, it's the baby heart of Chinese railway fan.
and the train number is not 4227/4228(Regular Train) any more, promoted to N160/N159, 'N' means 'Regional Express'.
